Really tidy player, there has been a real clamour for him to feature a lot more this season so I'd think it was a good signing for you. Has looked very good technically and has a really sweet strike on him - already scored a couple of excellent goals, including a belter on the final day at your place a couple of seasons back.
Aye someone posted it on twitter, looks like he has a foot like a traction engine. Hopefully he's a bit better than Courtney Senior, pace to burn but his brain can't keep up.
Courtney Senior fell of a cliff around covid time - I was convinced before then that he would be our next big money sale as he was unbelievable for a while but then he seemed to become completely ineffective almost overnight. Has had a couple of bad injuries over the years too, but when he was good he was really good. I notice Joe Monks is quite instrumental with you now? I'm sure he was a scout of some sort for us a few years back which presumably explains the link at the moment - Brennan Dickenson is another he'd have known from here as he was pretty much the best player in League Two in 2016/17 before a bad ACL injury and then he's never quite been the same.
Aye, Monks is Head of Recruitment, done pretty well with his signings so far, been mostly stop gap loans but improved us across the board.
Doncaster City in step 7 signed Charlie Mulgrew, Wes Hoolahan and Ross McCormack for one game so that they could play against Dearne and District They won the game but how tinpot to bench 3 regular players at that level just so Willy McKay can flex his dodgy agent muscles
Well that’s his own fault for being outside when the rest of us were following honest Boris’s advice and staying indoors.

We've signed midfielder Alex Hunt on loan from Grimsby, we've much needed another centre mid. Don't know much about him, any mariners fans on here enlighten me?
The curious case of Alex Hunt. Quality on the ball, can pick an absolutely killer pass. He's a top tier L2 player at the very least in that respect, probably more L1 quality...and if you're going a bit silly you could perhaps be forgiven for saying he has the passing range and vision of a second tier player. Proven at this level, he was a big part of our early season charge to the top of the table in 21/22. He then went back to The Wendies in the Jan of that season and signed a contract extension and we thought that would be that. Destined for higher things and sure enough Oldham who were down the bottom end of L2 took him on loan for the second half of the season. We fully expected him to kick on but he didn't feature much and Oldham went down. To our surprise, we then signed him for a fee and on a perm 3 year deal at the end of the summer window and we all thought we'd landed a massive coup. However, despite at times showing sporadic flashes of what he is capable of, he's never really kicked on. Partly down to his size perhaps, maybe mainly down to the fact that Paul Hurst used him in an anchor role when he's probably more suited to an attacking role or there's plenty suggesting there's something just not quite right with him. That has been denied by Shaun Pearson our assistant manager who says his attitude in training is good. His time in a Town shirt has been a very unsatisfying for all involved when his high ceiling is considered. For whatever reason, he's had three managers now that just haven't fancied him. There's a right player in there if he can be unlocked but I fear that his career is just hurtling into sludgy obscurity. He seems to really lack the ability to take a game by the scruff of a neck on a consistent basis. Hope he gets a run of matches at York as I think that's what he really needs.
If you go to about 2mins on here you'll see him play a lovely ball in the build up to our equaliser and then on about 3:40mins you'll see the type of set piece delivery he has in his locker. 7mins on this one for a ridiculous goal: 1min here for him receiving the ball in the middle and absolutely mugging off an MK Dons midfielder before playing in Gnahoua: If you can get him doing these kind of things on the regs and send him back to us ready for next season that'd be very much appreciated.
He will be played attacking mid, we've got 2 of the best defensive mids in the division I'd say in Dan Batty and Alex woodyard, just had nothing to link the midfield and attack, he looks like a decent player, think he will be the missing piece for us to start turning draws into wins
Amos has been decent then? Glad to hear that. Hunt is technically a much better player but Amos is much more tenacious. If Hunt had a bit more of that kind of bite about him he'd be some player.
