With it being the internet and a pretty new member I'm not sure if this is serious or a wind up? If it's serious I wish the guy all the best. But a lot of what he's saying seems to be classic incel tropes which makes me think it could be a wind up.
Incel is a name that seems to have taken route for people who are 'involuntarily celibate' ie. can't get a partner. It's always someone else's fault too - potential partners are too picky, judgemental, 'socially programmed to not want anything that is not perfection' I say this honestly - a willingness to talk, engage and make friends without 'expectation' is the most attractive quality anyone can have. Go for coffee, shopping, just take a walk without the pressure of it being a 'date' and let things happen naturally. Someone continually pushing for a partner is the biggest turn off for most people
Give it time. It can't be a 5minute process. Friend zone is no problem. That's stage 1 in melting their hearts in the most deeply cynical way possible.
Friends have friends, meet friends and sometimes they're friends with benefits or become more. TAFKAP is my best friend, he's my partner in crime, my football buddy, and also my husband - he's the person I dumped for 4 years and was involved with someone else and throughout all that time he was still my friend If you're hoping that you'll somehow be in a relationship that isn't based upon friendship then you're looking for something that doesn't exist
So make a move - the worst that will happen is they say no If you continue to be their best girlfriend then you're never going to get a chance
