To be honest, I thought Albrighton was one of their better players and was delighted when he got brought off ( although they didnt seem too pleased). If we stay up Geroge has to go, he really wories me sometimes.

Just a quick note on Ashley Young, he doesnt think he is allowed to be tackled and he was lucky not to be sent off but maybe Stearman was too

  2. Albrighton IS one of our best players usually...

    Young is a tosser.

excuse me if i'm struggling with the concept of apparently being upset as a result of losing to you. i don't see why losing to wolves would be any different to losing to the other fifteen teams we've been defeated by over the course of the season, so far. as i say, if i'd been sad after every defeat or every time we've ****ed up this season, then i'd be leading a very depressing life. my comments on home and away support are always made, win or lose, and they're always honest.

ahhhh, the beauty of the mics being placed by the away end. where five fans singing sounds like five thousand. same setup at goodison and ewood. i wish people would start educating themselves of this fact..

is it? perhaps to the bitter midlands clubs we're notoriously poor because that's the only stick they've ever had, albeit it's something they've all thought up out of thin air, to beat us with. but thankfully those that aren't obsessed with us can see the reality.

we've had 12 page threads on bluemoon about how good our support was, stoke fans on oatcake saying the same, for fulham we take 5000 every year, take over the place and sing for ninety minutes whatever the result or however poorly we're playing, sunderland fans for the league cup game said how brilliant our support was, at blackburn the darwen end nearly comes down every time we go there, it's always top notch at wigan and their fans have said as much, at liverpool during the 5-0 and the 3-0 it was villa singing for ninety minutes, everton fans a couple of seasons back claimed that we were the best they'd seen at goodison for many a year and chelsea lads i know still say that the 6000 we took down there in 2006 had not been matched before...or after.

though i'd also accept that on occassions we don't live up to the very high standards we've set. surely saturday was one of those days where you'd have to hold your hands up and say similar?

numbers wise, we're sometimes not as good as we should be. but vocally, we're reknowned for quality support. no other clubs compare to us, united, leeds and newcastle. and that's not coming from me, it's coming from those that know..

if you think you can judge any away support in the lower steve bull then you clearly don't know much about fan participation. every away fan whose club takes the full allocation at wolves comes away saying how poor it was and how you can't get any songs going as everyone's so spread out. it's the one thing that all match-going fans agree on, isn't it?

and let's not bring the jokes that are blues and albion into this. the former regularly take just a few hundred away from home and indeed couldn't sell out the lower league allocation for a league cup semi final at the boleyn, whereas the latter sit down away from home.

I too was at the game and your fans were average. I wouldn't go as far as saying poor. There were times when you outsung Villa (who, by the way, haven't had a very good HOME atmosphere all season) but were nothing special.

Rich, I can promise you that personally I am not bitter about Villa one bit. In my lifetime you have always been a more successful club than we have and I dont have a problem with Villa at all - never have done.

By naming a few examples of clubs that have comended your support is something we could all do, I am sure there are plenty that dont think your support is all that great. I can only judge you on what I see and I agree the Steve Bull lower is awful but your support just never impresses me, home or away.

Thats just my opinion but fair enough, I dont watch you every week do I but I did have a chuckle when you compared yourself to Newcastle and Leeds.
