So we’re not going to put our hands in our pockets to sign Martin permanently, because Norwich want a fee ? So much for the restructure. A talented, young player who’s been on loan with us, would be a great permanent addition with sell on value… oh wait that just makes too much sense for us

    With us , alledgedly .

McCann was thanking Deeping Rangers for stepping in with 1 days notice after our friendly with you guys behind closed doors was called off at short notice .

Deeping Rangers were due to play friendly with Cambridge City so last night's 1,044 would have easily eclipsed the 150-200 attendance so more beneficial cash wise for them .

We're playing Spennymoor tonight and haven't got loads of players available so would have been surprised if we had two games in two days.

We're playing Steve Evans's Stevenage tonight but played 30 players last night & no one over 45 mins .

We've got a few transfer listed / freebies , Idris Kanu winger scored against you couple season's back a Sierra Leone international would be ok signing , if your struggling , lots of ability , weakness , he over tries .

So pathetic from him, most experienced player on the squad bar Clayton, opening day infront of a packed out crowd at Valley Parade where the younger heads needs those experienced players to look up to and yet he does something as stupid as that

Tbf good from us to be a man down and limit an apparent promotion favourite to 2 shots on target.

He does suffer badly with mental health issues which came to the fore in loan spell with us where DMac put him under his wing for 6 months & at £6k a week 20% of his Cardiff wages .
I remember him throwing his toys out of the pram & getting himself intentionally sent off when Celtic were in for him before we eventually got £1.5 million from Smoggies for him .

He's still got a great footballing brain finding space for others with lovely little flicks etc... has anyone in your squad got a similar smart brain , I suppose you'll find out over next 12 months , I doubt it'll be longer than that !

Nope. It's one of our issues last season, zero creativity. We didn't replace Coppinger or Richards/Sims who we had on loan the previous season. I was surprised we went for Tomlin when he has fitness, injury and discipline issues, he likely won't play anywhere more than 30 games for us this season, then when he's out where's that creativity coming from? Some of our fans think Rowe but he's not that player, he won't put in the creative numbers that those kinds of players will. We have brought in a young player from Birmingham called Kyle Hurst who is a bit unknown, we'll see how he turns out.
