i'm seeing, too, that once again, the top clubs in your league pretty much never lose a match. this was a problem last year and required fixing in one of the title updates
I'll have to observe that (haven't made it past October yet). I'm playing with Cadiz and opened the season against Barcelona and Real Madrid as 2 of my opening 3 fixtures . Managed to steal a win against Barca (1-0 on a corner then just parked the bus/retained possession) and drew against Madrid (same tactic, without a lucky goal). Right now we're all joint top or thereabouts with about 6 or 7 matches played. Will keep an eye out if they just keep rolling opponents as the season goes on.
I like to play online seasons and you basically have to go as a 4 or 4.5 star team unless you want to play PSG in EVERY SINGLE MATCH. Don't know who thought that 'zoom in' nonsense on shots would be a good idea.
Same old shite on Ultimate Team I'm guessing? Emphasis on the players with good agility and balance and at least 4 star skills?
The zoom in for power shots can be disabled in settings. I experienced it once, and looked for that setting right away!
does anyone else lock to a player in career mode matches? it's the only way i've ever played. haha i'm actually so bad when i'm not locked to a given player
Heads-up to anyone playing FUT who hasn't yet done the Arnautovic SBC... he's an absolute steal! Under 20k to complete, decent pace, strong, agile and lengthy AcceleRATE style. I've played 17 games with him so far, and he's produced 30 goals and 19 assists - absolute machine! I did Posch as well because, well, why not. Again, under 20k, pacy for a CB, lengthy, and with him and Arnie on the pitch together you get them both at 2 out of 3 chem off the bat.

To be honest, I have a very basic team. Not had much time to play it this year, though saying that, I like this fifa more than alot of past versions. I'm still on old gen. Packed untradeable Haaland and untradeable Cancelo. Will use all my fifa coins to buy players I believe will be ToTW next week. Made 50k on Bellingham last week. As soon as he scored for Dortmund, I bought 10. When he scored his second, bought another 30 and listed them high. They all sold on the Monday. Previous week, lost a bundle on Ivan Toney. I usually create a new player and then yeah, play locked to that player for the career. There used to be a core group of us that played pro clubs online and I've loved the mode ever since so it's my preferred way to play the career mode. Haven't picked up 23 yet but can't imagine much has changed from 22. I rarely play Fifa online so figured I'd skip this season's edition.
Penalties are weird. I understand the circle around the ball for how well you strike it, but I haven’t a clue where I’m aiming because there’s nothing there Yeah, it’s the exact same when Premier League (or any other top flight side around Europe) are relegated and they absolutely obliterate the division below. It’s the one thing that has always frustrated me with career mode, forever seeing the same teams bouncing back. Boring.
