More proof for ya boys http://www.evo.co.uk/videos/trackdayvideos/61467/radical_sr8_smashes_nrburgring_lap_record.html Picture with number plate,Lights and indicaters.
though it is street legal, by design it is a track car. I think most people are interested in how more practical cars do on the ring and is interesting how 2 american cars sit at the top, ahead of the pagani zonda and a multitude of porsches in the track car segment, the SR3's time is virtually unopposed, though it is a wonder why cars such as the Ultima GTR haven't made official runs.
I know its designed for the track, Im just correcting someone who said the American car was at the top when infact it isnt, And by quite far away too. Even the Ultima GTR wouldn't stand a chance against the SR8, Be intresting to see how it cope's though, But once again it's another car which was designed for the Track And talking of practical, The corvette ZR1 isnt excatly practical is it, One seater, Weight reducted, And is barely road legal, And is a race model.
thats what I mean, I want to see more track specific cars go around the ring with a driver who knows his way around and set an official time. Its not much fun only having the video of the radical, no matter how exciting it is! looks like 2 seats to me... and much more practical than a Radical... though very far from a vehicle to carry around groceries
I must be thinking of another one i have seen, Didn't realise they come like that as standard though, Looks great though But still, It aint as nothing near as fast as our English track warrior The Radical Also here is the list of the Production road cars times As you can see the Corvette ZR1 is infact sat in 5th place and the Z06 is 19th. http://www.fastestlaps.com/track2.html Pics of the 2nd place production car on the Nurburgring and still faster than the Corvette. http://www.pistonheads.com/roadtests/DonkervoortD8.htm
