Yes, makes me feel old watching the son of a former player in the 1st team! theres another Mawene youngster in the youth team too, rather than scouting for players, we just get former players kids

Always rated him. Wanted us to sign him when we came down in 2005.
Miss those days, something about players back then that's missing now.

I wanted us to sign Rudi Skacel back in those days. Now that was a transfer saga.

Mental that people still haven’t grasped the concept of MNF yet.

Southampton right back in the mix again now. Good to see Armstrong bagged another goal too.

You really don't watch tv much if you think this sort of thing is isolated to MNF

In the PL it happens every single televised game that doesn't involve the big teams, but like I've said before, you wouldn't really know. Your team has never been in the top tier.

Apologies! Was out last night and just saw the scoreline and list of scorers when checking in. My bad for assuming. Still, a great result for Southampton.

It’s amazing how many times @FranniesTache can be wrong considering how much time he spends watching his team. :whistle;)

Also i've not been wrong that much, we've ballsed up pretty much every opportunity to get back into it properly that we've had, Millwall at home was probably the worst of them, but Ipswich away also grates as we should've been out of sight before half time.

I still don't think the players have the mental toughness needed to win the last four games, especially with two being Leeds and Leicester.

 Going by the recent performances, you’re certainly tougher than both us and Leeds.
I’m not looking forward to our match, we’ll tbh I’m not looking forward to any of our remaining matches.

Not sure about Leeds but yeah your form seems to have nosedived at exactly the point you don't want it to

I'm more confident playing sides that will attack that sides at the bottom

what about sides that will endlessly pass the ball backwards and sideways hoping to bore the opposition into submission?

Not sure what else you’re referring to, Super Sunday pre and post match is devoted to the games being covered, same as the Saturday games. On Sky at least, anyway. I don’t have BT so couldn’t comment, only time I ever see it is in the pub like tonight for the CL.

MNF is what people usually moan about, which is a 4 and a half hour show. Do you seriously expect them to fill 90 minutes beforehand and 75 minutes post match talking about Wolves vs Burnley?

It’s a great programme if you can get your head around the concept of it.
