I'm very happy that Gerrard was found not guilty although imo it wasn't in any doubt.

He can now put all that behind him and concentrate on getting some game time before the season starts :thumb

The hospital is not in the town centre , it is on the outskirts of town .

It is just under 3 miles from the club/bar , and not even Usain Bolt could make it in 5 minutes .

Whether he could have been taken by car or taxi , I don't know , but on foot is not really an option .

Everyone seems to be missing the big picture here .

Gerrard wanted Coldplay and Phil Collins to be played , a crime against humanity on both counts .

The local paper , the Southport Visiter , carried an interview with McGee last week . I didn't read all of it , but it seems he's received death threats from enraged Gerrard fans .On the plus side , his business is booming with the additional publicity .

It depends which Phil Collins song he wanted. If it was Easy lover, all is forgiven.

Perhaps if Stevie had waited to now until doing his book, he would have actually had something interesting to put in it!

My bet is on "Groovy Kind of Love".

Surely you would know with your intimate knowledge of Merseyside pub names and the contents of their jukeboxes circa 2000-2009.

It's Auntie Joyce, and travelling to Southport from Aintree for a night out? Not worth it. I thought with your stunning knowledge of the area you would know the distances?

    ;)

I'm sure you and "Aunty Joyce" know plenty about the distances.

Courtesy of map quest and Google.

Anyway, move along sonny if you've got nothing to add about the Gerrard court case.

I can't vouch for Joyce she is past the age of nights out, but I know enough to know I would head into Liverpool city centre rather than Southport for a night out distance wise.

I prefer google maps, never used map quest. Probably a canadian site?

I have provided plenty of insight and opinion into the court case thanks, you are the one who decides to go off topic. Sonny? respect your elders, there's a good boy.
