Goals On Saturday - Rules and Questions Arising!

For those like me who missed a few weeks, is it possable to post 20 teams with 2 no scoring sides in order to stay in the game, this gives no advantage to the players who play catch up, but can keep it interesting...What do you chaps think, good idea?

 

I think its a alright idea.......Would you like breakfast in bed as well tomorrow morning. ?

 

Haha I think the rules are fine as they are mate, I usually get the fixtures up early Tuesday so you have a decent amount of time to get them in.

 

If the score was 2-1 and I put 1-0 for a win, do I still get a point for it?

 

I'm not 100% sure what you mean mate, I think your probably referring to Monty's prediction game. This is the rules thread for Goals on Saturday.

I'd imagine you would still get a point as you've predicted the correct outcome.

Is it allowed to bold the 11th team?

 

I think he means if they keep a clean sheet he'll get 6 points. My guess would be no.

 

Sorry if I've missed this somewhere, but do points get deducted for every goal your 11th team scores?

 

Yeah the 11th team you select- ie the team not to score either gets you 3 pts if they don't score or as you say loses you a point per goal they score.

Just a little bump for new entrants to the game.

 

A quick rule change so please note the opening post in this thread.

Reason for a rule change is that I play this game on another forum and one user forgot his Not to score team. Obviously you could benefit if the team gets hammered say 5-0, hence why the rule is now brought in..
