Arsenal have revealed they are keeping tabs on highly-rated Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international has been in fine form in the Bundesliga this season, scoring 12 goals, and he has also impressed in the German Cup and the Uefa Cup.

However, the 22-year-old's performances have not gone unnoticed and the Gunners are monitoring his progress.

"We keep our eyes on him," Arsenal first team coach Boro Primorac told kicker-Sportmagazin.

"He is a striker able to make it in the Premiership."

I think you won't spend anything in terms of net spending. So you will get in more than you spend. But you will spend something. Just not as much as you get in from sales. Get me?

You might get one big name in, probably a DM or CB, but I can also see the likes of Adebayor, Gallas or Clichy to be bought for a fair amount.

I think 99% of the people on here understand the term 'net spending'.

    Also don't see Clichy leaving.

I'm hoping we send Senderos straight back.

Saw something about Leverkusen's Tranquilo Barnetta being linked with us.

Haven't seen him play at all though.

If there is God - please let us to be genuinely linked with David Villa. I don't care if it takes twice as long (and twice as much) as it did to secure Arshavin. Get rid of Adebayor and bring the Valencia hitman to London.

He won't leave Spain will he?

Manchester City enquired about him but his agent stated that Villa wanted to stay in Spain!

Would love to see him at the Emirates, but if Valencia do sell him then Barcelona will probably be his most likely destination since he doesn't want to leave Spain.

Could you imagine the goals Eto'o would have scored against Blacburn on the weekend. You wouldn't have enough fingers and toes. Bendtner and Adebayor score goals; but miss plenty more. Eto'o and Villa would knock them in with alarming regularity. Agreed Villa is the longest of long shots. Eto'o is a much more realistic option. Barca want young starlets; and are I would imagine start getting rid of the pensioners. I think Adebayor fits the bill and would suit their style of play.

Yeah, doesn't mean he won't leave though. I imagine that Barca would want to keep hold of him but like Hirdy said they may decide to pave the way for young and upcoming stars like Bojan and some other players at other clubs. What a coup Eto'o would be.

What a great shout even if it is a long shot... I would love to see him at the club but I would think we would need to put some cash up for the deal to go through. We can dream though!

We have been linked with Mamadou Sakho (PSG) He is rated at about 4m but at 18 might be a bit on the young side for the defensive cover we need!

Also linked to Klaas Jan Huntelaar who would be a great replacement for Ade should he leave in the summer.
