His biggest accomplishment after 1990 was surviving his mistakes and addictions. Not an easy task. He's a bellend but most people are.
Fat drug addict cheating ****. Edit : I did actually see him live with Napoli v Bayern in the 2-2 draw in the uefa cup semi final in Munich in 1989. He was brilliant tbf, but I still hate the twat. 0:1 61 Careca 1:1 63 R. Wohlfarth 1:2 76 Careca 2:2 81 S. Reuter
Seems like this is legitimate. Anybody who hasn't watched the documentary film about him put out a yer or so again, do it. RIP
Seems he's had a heart attack. Though some reports say he has died, others that he's in serious condition. Diego Maradona has died after suffering a cardiac arrest, according to reports | Daily Mail Online
60 still feels incredibly young, but Maradona had a hell of a run to fill all those years. A legend in many ways.
One of the greatest I've ever seen playing, maybe even the greatest. I "hated" him 1986 when he and the Argentines won against us in the World Cup Final (and mocked him 4 years later when he was whining after they lost the 1990 World Cup final against us ) but I've always had the utmost respect for his talents on the field (not so much about his talents outside of the football field). Rest in Peace, Diego Jesus, this thread was created not even 4 weeks ago to congratulate him to his 60th Birthday. Now he's dead. I'm turning 58 in not even 3 weeks on Dec 11th. Makes me think....
Other footballers are players or athletes Diego was an artist. And with it came an artists temperament and lifestyle. I don’t think we’ll ever see another like him as football as changed so much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
