I think they have haven’t they? Wise move if you ask me, just as long as they let the Margaret River wine flow out of the state..

    Is that twinned with Wannergetout?

visited Rottnest, Cervantes, Geraldton, Monkey Mia, Coral bay and a shit load more places. Hired a small aircraft from Geraldton to go to the islands (can’t remember the name but it was Portuguese for “look out” or something like that. Will go back when we’ve done other bits of this island that we haven’t done yet.

Culturally no... But Perth has a unique culture of its own. I believe.

    Possibly, it is dullsville

Plenty of places to see and little to do but the beaches are fantastic

Loved the barmy Army at the WACA always cheered the place up.

There’s an Indian branch called the Biryani army.
No one comes close to the Barmies. Mitch Johnson admitted after he’d retired that we had him in our pockets, especially in the 2010/11 tour.

tbf there is nothing more annoying than loud, drunk, sunburnt Brits. I thought I saw the worst of it in Australia and then I moved to Spain

The BA in general are a great crowd and always socialise wherever possible with the home fans. I remember one night in a Melbourne pub where we had a kareoke sing-off, the Aussie fans singing Aussie songs and the English singing our stuff. That one wasn’t even close.
The English tourist abroad, especially in the Mediterranean, is an animal..

Just prior to the virus out break the Aussies were warned by the Balinese government that drunkenness would not be tolerated. I mean, who goes there to be sober when Bintang’s a dollar a go??

Honestly I can't imagine how boring growing up in Wanneroo must have been. Explains why one cousin left Australia never to return and why another absorbed himself with computers.

    :D

Nick Cave was born and raised in a sheep station wasn’t he? Somewhere in the back of beyond in north east Victoria. Keep meaning to go and have a look see but, you know..

I'm probably dinning out on memories.... I had a shit time of it as a kid, had to live in both Kimberley and Dampier for a bit because of dads work.
