I think that's why he's been squealing like a 5 year old who's dropped his lolly for the last month :laugh:

So England follow Scotlands lead and announce relegation will go ahead should the games not be finished.

It's almost as if the squeals of 'cheating' up here were manufactured.

So England (PL) at least are returning next month. Were Scotland a bit too hastie in cancelling the league?

    No.

And anyone comparing the situation in Scotland to that in England really doesn't understand the situation and on that note i see RoyalBlueMaldini has liked the post lol.

It's probably also wise at this point to remind you Rangers voted to end the season.

:gotcha caught a massive one just by liking a post ...don't even have to comment to get a bite.

I'm unsure of the relevance of what way Rangers voted. In response, I'd suggest you read the question posted a little more closely :thumb

Scotland is lucky if it pulls in as much money as League 1 in England. Its comparable to The Championship at the very best, when are those leagues resuming?.

The EFL manages to make the SPFL look organised!

League Two have finished. They have confirmed the promoted teams. I'm not sure what is happening to the Playoffs and there is still uncertainty about what happens to Stevenage who are bottom of the league.

Championship wants to return. Players are back training etc.

League One is a total mess. Most clubs want to end it with PPG. There are about six or seven clubs (led by Peterborough) that want to play on. Nothing was agreed at the last meeting, so a new meeting will be held on the 8th June.

Tommy are you saying Denmark is comparable to Scotland in this situation and if so in what way?

So with all the crying being done by a certain set of fans about the league restarting, their club at this moment in time have not even ordered testing kits so their players can resume training.

Only Celtic, Ross County (wealthy owner) and the SFA have put testing measures in place so training can resume as soon as possible.

100k it will cost over time (per 25 man squad) to get these tests, anyone who thinks our clubs can afford that while getting no fans through the gates are naive.

Not even confident we’ll be able to start the new season in time, unfortunately.

Agree and reconstruction might have to take place regardless of any vote as many clubs simply won't be able to run without fans through the gate and I include Prem clubs in that scenario, hearing Hamilton have real worries.

Once crowds do return what's thoughts on a season or two of split gates? To help smaller teams?

Given there isn't as much TV money for clubs to draw from.

There's no way that will happen as Scotlands clubs are the most reliant on gate receipts of all clubs across Europe. Almost half of Celtics income is through the gate, 45%, and Rangers' is 67%. To give half of that away would be suicide for both clubs and also the likes of Hibs and Aberdeen would lose a lot of money.

Saying that though, I do hope that the clubs can find a way to support each other though I can't see a certain club doing that. They are having a meltdown as they have been named in an independent report as the club most likely to go bust in all of Europe. Us and Porto are the next most likely so they claim.

Is that purely based on how much we rely on gate receipts?
