Alabama IVF ruling: What does it mean for fertility patients? Bollocks to changing gun laws in order to better protect school children, but a few frozen cells in a petri dish are another matter. That country is on a whole new level of f**ked up.
Is crazy, they put more effort into stopping a woman from having an abortion ( which i believe is their right to have one ) yet will ban a 20 year old from having a beer but hey you can go out and buy any gun you want. Yooo Es Aye. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
What is so insidious is that, at the top level, stopping women from having abortions is nothing to do with a pro life belief (although there are obviously shit loads of religious loons over there who believe in such bollocks), it's more about putting another misogynistic hurdle and control in place.
It's not even just this, it's as much to try and prevent a perceived "replacement of whites" with people of colour due to the higher birth rates in these minorities and declining birth rates in the white population. There was a really good Youtube video with an academic going through the history of the movement to overturn Roe Vs Wade from the outset that I'll try and find.
This is complete nonsense, Black women have the highest abortion rate in the US. Black women will suffer the most without Roe
The theory part is the terminology of the Nazis that came up with it. So you should probably take it up with them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
this is absolutely spot on. What’s more puzzling is the tens of millions of women who enable this. The country is a paradox; women campaigning for the old status quo of white males being in sole control of the country. The so called free speechers burning/banning books as quick as they can. The whole country is a contradiction at the moment. Having a narcissistic fantasist as the leader of the opposition just fuels al of this nonsense. It’s only gonna get worse when they vote him back in
even trumps been panicked by this ruling amd the resulting actions of fertility clinics to stop treatments. apparently ultra evangelicals are supposed to be pro if even though it interferes with God's whatever because true conservatives and pro lifers should want folk like them to have "precious babies" I'm pretty sure most of the ultras think I've is probably a sin as well so if trump is panicked enough to make a statement about this he must think its going to blow back on him
Not much. However, I find the argument of ‘life begins at conception therefore let’s strip women of their right to control their bodies’ dubious for the first part anyway. Let alone the obvious, abhorrent nature of the second part. Allowing abortion to be safe and legal also allows for your view to be a valid one within society. Banning it strips over half of the population of their view. It’s really quite simple. It’s also, you know, something women should dominate the discourse on. But, typically, they don’t…
RDS is a loon but...it kind of does. If the anti-abortion movement was motivated by wanting to suppress the black population, then they would be for abortion not against it. If abortion were illegal the black population would be significantly higher in the US.
I literally have no idea where you're getting this from. Nothing in my post is racist whatsoever. Somebody else suggested that the anti-abortion movement is trying to suppress the black population - that claim makes zero sense. BBC News - Who could be most affected by US abortion changes?
