Again I've spent the entire summer talking about this, so if you will. Also the media reports when a cop hugs a child This country is so far up the police and military's ass it's hilarious.
What is becoming clear is, nothing will change if players just continue being polite and playing along. UEFA have let this issue boil up and boil up season after season. It is clear there are a lot of football fans and people in football who simply are not comfortable with the race discussion taking place at any pace other than their own. So good on the players yesterday, and long may it continue when they feel they are within their rights to take action. If it means offending some people who are clearly comfortable with people going into work and feeling targeted for their race, then it is an offence worth causing.
‘Over the Summer’ the left wing American media, CNN perhaps being the worst, was entirely biased on the side of the ‘protesters’ and against the police. That was so blatant that is was a disgrace to journalism. Fox News was more supportive of the police. I agree that traditionally the police have been supported by the media, but the agenda has clearly changed with the rise of BLM.
Wow, you’ve gone through over five years worth of posts and that’s the best you can find? Go away you sad man.
I was wondering why the **** I was being quoted On this subject, at the very least it seems pretty careless and insensitive (and unprofessional) for an official to refer to a player or coach that way. It's not like you don't know the guy's name.
@Marty_LFC here’s the latest video from a YouTube channel I watch. It really is a great, unbiased channel that shows the good, the bad and the ugly of American policing. Look at how respectfully the officer deals with the suspect. The suspect pretends to fear the police, trying to cause them to drop their guard, and then tries to steal their gun at the last moment before getting shot. This is just one example, but there are tons of videos showing exemplary police work on this channel in the toughest of situations. I don’t know why anyone would want to be a police officer in America; it’s a thankless job. You risk your life every day, you’re constantly accused of racism, and every engagement you’re involved in is scrutinized. There are some bad eggs, but in general they do a fine job with limited resources.
Has to be Pepperoni Passion with Chorizo Sausage and my chosen KFC is already out there and I steadfastly refuse to fuel your tardiness even further by reiterating the order preferable to me
I don't think Marty needs to be lectured about American policing from other British based users? (assuming you are British based)
I’m not lecturing, just offering another view. I don’t know what his personal experience is with police in America, but I’ve seen so much fine police work on that channel in particular (a channel which also covers the worst cases of policing) and I respect the work they do.
