Jordan Henderson

  1. it did'nt look like it'd be a cruciate ligament.

It looks like a straight up front on bang.

not sure what that means within the knee itself.

Knee injuries always make me fear the worst, could be a lengthy sideline then.

This from Paul Joyce seems like the best news people could have realistically hoped for, which is good.

That’s good news for sure considering it’s his knee. He looked knackered anyway tbh.

It's a shame but it isn't like the club is going into the end of season European mini tournament, and not in the FA Cup. This team *should* still be able to break the points record, though it isn't an easy last few matches!

Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Keita midfield... with Oxlade-Chamberlain, Milner and Jones in reserve is perfectly fine. Lallana still knocking about too, though he may be adverse to playing with eye on a new club.

Yeah exactly its only a few matches so it won’t impact us. And tbh it probably relieves Klopp of a selection headache regarding who Keita comes in for as he certainly deserves to keep his starting place after his recent performances.

Liverpool's Jordan Henderson named Football Writers' Association Men's Footballer of the Year

Congratulations Jordan Henderson, thoroughly deserved and the classless comments from today from a certain disgruntled manager below make it even better :laugh::laugh:

Guardiola said: "No, no, [it] will be won by a Liverpool player. "When we won the Premier Leagues, it was won by a Liverpool player.

"When they win the Premier League, I'm pretty sure they are going to win the player of the season award."So this award is always for Liverpool."

Anything less than a hand written confession from the mole and he's chewing his own bottom lip.

Fantastic that Hendo has been awarded this. He was so humble in the interview for it too, accepting the award on behalf of the whole team. A mark of the man.

Henderson is probably as good as Busquets in his 2009-13 prime.
