As I said, it was never about convicting people because there were no crimes committed for them to be convicted for. This was always about the silencing of protestors to ensure everything looked positive to the world and to keep the establishment happy. So sad how we've become the same as many states around the world that we often show disgust towards for these exact same things
1 year since Her Majesty passed away. Think the previous thread was locked. Hope you're resting well.
Do you think we will get a referendum on whether to get rid of the monarchy after Charles passes? Or will they hang on for a bit longer? I think they are pretty secure for another decade or so, but they are on borrowed time.
Good luck to him in his forthcoming battle, at least he won't have to wait for treatment like us plebs have to. I'm not a Royalist but cancer doesn't respect money or status, get well soon.
Quite shocked, as I assumed they would all be screened and checked over regularly. Hopefully, like anyone, he responds to treatment in a positive way
I’m an ardent republican who thinks the royal family are an insane anachronistic institution but Charles is also a human being and deserves sympathy for this awful disease. It must be horrendous for his kids too, to lose their gran and grandad, then so soon after have their father diagnosed with cancer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I love how people that don't agree with the Royal Family have to make it known before they say anything nice about them. Anyway, f*ck cancer and get well soon King Charles.
Yes I understood that but thought the latest find would have been found sooner, but it’s probably how it happened
