    Barcelona lose again.

Well done Osa, but it won't be enough to save them. Any one of 5 to go down and my pick is the current team in trouble.

Failing that, Racing to relegate Getafe, with Osasuna getting a point and Gijon beating Recre.

Congratulations to Forlan for earning the Pichichi, after scoring an incredible 32 league goals.

Athletico could well keep hold of their superstars as they successfully qualified for the Champions League, thanks to those very superstars in Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero.

Hasn't Aguero been a bit naff this season though, and they've relied alot on Forlan?

I've been watching Aguero, and while his record appears considerably inferior to that of his compatriot, he has performed exeptionalyl well. He has scored some wonder goals this campaign. All you have to do is watch him when in possession of the ball and you're stunned by his low centre of gravity that compliments his already magnificant close-control. The fact that he is just 20-years-old and is rated as highly as he is epitomizes how big this Argentine can go.

Have to agree with Kaka, it's more a case of Forlan being incredible than Aguero underperforming. 17 goals is normally a pretty good total but it doesn't look so great when your striker partner has 32.

I'm absolutely gutted, it's going to be difficult not being able to watch any Betis games next season

For second straight season, a club with a forward line formed by Sergio García and Ricardo Oliveira gets relegated...

He hasn't been scoring as consistantly since the winter break. He was a bit of goals machine earlier on, but since then Forlan has just been insane infront of goal with Aguero being more of a supporting player, feeding Forlan.

He's still very young though, i'm sure in the near future he'll become a more rounded and consistant player.

Are Betis the Newcastle of the Spanish League, appointing and firing coaches every 6 months, buying 'reputation' players on high wages who turn out to be average and they like Newcastle have a 50k + capacity stadium. Frightening similarites indeed.
Message to any club next season, don't buy Sergio Garcia and Ricardo Oliviera, you will be relegated:bye

    The Real Betis Relegation sale.

Where do you reckon the following will go

    Ricardo
    Achille Emana
Juanito - Pre Contract with At Madrid
    Nelson
    Mehmet Aurelio
    Sergio Garcia
    Edu
    Ricardo Oliviera
    Capi
    Mariano Pavone

it's amazing that such squad had been relegated. I'm pretty sad for Betis as their fans are class and pretty loyal. I'd rather wanted Valladolid to go down out of the possibilities (Osasuna, Sporting, Betis, Valladolid and Getafe)

I wouldn't mind that Sergio García and Damia come back home...

Unbeilieveable that those players have been relegated, just proves you are never too good to be relegated.
Do you think Lopera will sell the club now?

Actually there're just 4 teams with options to get promoted with 9 points to go, and none of them is already promoted:
    1 Xerez 78
    2 Tenerife 75
    3 Zaragoza 74
    4 Hércules 69
