I posted a comment on Messi's compilation saying "Ronaldo's better'' (:ohnoes) I'll post any replies and the amount of dislikes/likes I get here.

Ronnie has 7 goals in his past 2 league games...Barca will win the title tonight, but I think Ronaldo will win the Pichichi.

Messi has more goals and more assists in all competitions though, I hardly think Messi will be worrying himself too much about Ronaldo winning the Pichichi, whereas Ronaldo is vain enough to believe his own hype.

Messi will win the Ballon D'or again December, except if he scores three own goals in the Champs league final or something, and rightly so the man is exceptional in not only his goalscoring but his play-making, he can sit and create, Ronaldo can not do this.

    I'm correct though.

I don't hate Ronaldo at all, exceptional player and fully deserving of all the credit he gets, I just believe that Messi is superior and can play different positions, which I think is backed up by evidence if you look at games this season. We're not all as petty and jealous as the Ronaldo fan-boys :).

Ronaldo can play different positions, and those video compilations prove he has a variety of ways to score a goal too. Maybe if Messi goes a couple of months without scoring from six yards out, I'll warm to him a bit more :party

Messi is quite capable of scoring long range efforts too, but why settle for that when you are able to dribble through a whole team, get into the penalty box and convert a simple chance.

What are you talking about, I cba with even finding the link for his 52 goals so far but there are goals from all ranges. Plus his assists are a mix of 25 yard balls to simple passes.

You're clearly a deeply ignorant person, probably willfully so, and as such there's no real point in any discussion with you. Either that or you have serious mental deficiencies, in which case I apologise and hope you find some medication.

Barcelona are champions, well save for a ridiculous goal swing. Well deserved.

LOL! I can only guess why people continue to pay attention to Munroe is because they like laughing at him.

They're confirmed champs as the table goes on head-to-head rather than goal difference.

There's a link on the other page you fool  He scores a freekick in there, there's that goal against Madrid, and those goals from the D which he does seem to score often...but he hasn't scored what I'd define as a long range goal this season; and I can't seem to remember ever seeing him score one. Apparently I'm the ignorant person yet you "cba to find a link'' to his goals, when there's evidence on the previous page ffs.

You can keep your mouth shut too. Ever since you've signed up to this site all you do is start arguments & when someone stands up to you, you add them to the ignore list :rolleyes pathetic WUM needs a life I think.

Christ almighty, you've actually watched all 52 goals and you think he can't score many different kinds of goals?

Imbecile is the only word, Messi scores all types of goals, scores more of them and creates more. He's just easily better.

That 'evidence' also shows that Ronaldo has scored 6 goals from outside the box this season, compared to 7 from Messi. A huge chunk of Ronaldo's goals were tap-ins and penalties. Rubbish, isn't he?

Easily better ? That is a bit harsh. Ronaldo looks all set to smash a 21 year old record in just his second league campaign in the La-liga.

I agree, I do think Messi is better and have done so for years but he isn't light years ahead of Ronaldo by any stretch of the imagination.

Perhaps easily better is an exaggeration, I just think Messi links up better with the rest of the team, as exemplified by his wonderful passing range and amount of assists. Both players are incredibly reliant on their pace, I think Messi will be able to adapt to a deeper role once his natural speed diminishes, I can't see Ronaldo ever doing that.

On the contrary I think Messi is going to be impacted a lot more when his pace diminishes. I think Ronaldo has the better physical attributes, is better in the air and probably has a better shot on him and those will serve him very well as his career goes on.
