We would have been fine iif there were no FFP as MacAnthony would have finance
That was him to a tee. He had the ability to get his teams on winning runs playing great football...but the moment a little bad spell came along he just lost the plot and swapped the cards about like a manic Carol Vorderman!

Nearly 400 football fans mostly Wycombe but also fans from other clubs joined Jeff Stelling in walking 26.2 miles from Wembley to Adams Park to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK in memory of Our biggest fan Bill Turnbull who died a year ago,to date the amount raised is over £220,000 so well done to all those who took part and donated to the charity.:clap::clap:

I see Oxford have submitted plans for a new 16,000-seater stadium in Kidlington with their Kassam lease ending in 2026.

What will happen to the Kassam?

Don't know all the ramifications but DMac is once again the main owner of Posh after buying out the Canadians albeit all 3 still own the ground & the debts accrued to buy it from the City Council .

Good news for Posh fans , he's pretty marmite but he's in his 18th year at the club & without him we'd most probably be a mid table League 2 team & although we're in a bit of debt were run better than the likes of Barnsley , Charlton , Bolton , Blackpool , Portsmouth & especially the likes of Derby , Wigan & Reading all of whom shouldn't be plying their trade in the 3rd tier of English football after being ran by clowns & charlatans .

Life's about timing & despite in the 5 & 1/2 years the Canadian's were at Posh all their big visions of a new 20,000 seater City Centre multi purpose arena were scuppered by the City Council , the new Anglia & Ruskin University , the locals & mostly by Covid & the high % of repayments on loans for money(s) borrowed going through the roof .

Not all doom & gloom under them , we've a nice £1.7 million indoor tent for our Category 2 Under 21's & downwards , our home fan base hovvered at around 4.5-5000 , is now around 7,000 & the having local grown academy talent in the 1st team squad has come into fruition with vice captain Harrison Burrows & Rikki Jade-Jones both having good seasons so far , hope DMac continues this as well as the Posh ethos in playing attacking football & the you score 3 we'll score 4 motto despite being a Posh fan you know we have to sell the best talent to balance the books .

Bolton have announced their new prices for season tickets

"Early Bird season tickets are now on sale. Adult prices start at £249 for renewals and £279 for new applicants."

"Phase two begins on Monday, April 22 and prices will start at £359 for adults, £229 for over-75s, £269 for over-65s, £239 for under-23s, £119 for under-18s and £85 for under-12s. Family deals are also available."

this is regardless of if we stay in league one or promote to the championship, which i think is £12 a match for potential championship football.

when you compare that to what Shef W are offering £510 for their most expensive ticket considering they look likely to come back into league one is unreal pricing, esp considering we nearly went out of business a few years back.

Another gambling scandal has hit Posh .

GK coach Ali Uzunhasanoglu has been handed a 1 month ban & been fined £250 after being found guilty of placing 1144 bets between August 2018 & October 2023 some of that period of time when with Oldham & Stevenage .

Within the above time frame he staked

£387.53 & won £19.38  talk about small stakes !

    He's definitely got a problem , he's shite at winning , Ali , try these tomorrow .

    Pompey , Derby , Bolton & Stevenage 4 timer pays 7.17/1 , it'll be like printing money ;)

You’d think the fact that Portsmouth have been close to and probably should’ve been liquidated that they’d be a bit more sympathetic to other clubs plights.

But no, showing their true class as always. Self proclaimed best fans in the world though.

So this is then an opportunity to show people what a class act the Portsmouth fans are, but instead they choose to show they are a bunch of twats (not all obviously). Just confirming what everyone already thinks.

Unlike Brighton fans, who showed they are a class act, and other fans around the country who have also supported us.

Can't see 22 players on the pitch at F/T with Simon Mather reffing our game at home to Oxford as in 24 games this season he's dished out 135 yellow and 10 red cards. :eeek
