Apparently Lee Trundle was seen near our stadium the other day, and apparently we are after Tadhg Purcell (Darlington) And Francis Jeffers (Sheffield Wednesday).
Antoni Sarcevic has signed from Woodley Sports. Lee Bell is more than likely going to sign tomorrow from Macclesfield. Steve Phillips will probably sign.
The old phrase no news is good news Only thing is I don't think it is particularly good for Shrewsbury, all our contracted players are mediocre are out of contract players unlikely to stay and all the best transfers are being snapped up now If only we had the balls to sack Simpson a month earlier
We were linked with Michael Symes of Accrington and Stephen Dawson of Bury, do people think they'd be good enough for League One anyway? And going the other way it looks like Tom Kennedy is off to Donny, Dagnall is off to either Huddersfield or Charlton (only rumours mind), McArdle is off to Aberdeen (I hear this one is almost a done deal), and finally Craig Dawson is as usual being linked here, there and everywhere. Middlesbrough made a bid and it looks as though we turned it down, because as usual the bigger clubs think they can steal little Rochdales players for a pittance!!!!
Symes is no way near league 1 quality. He was our 4th or 5th choice striker in 08-09 and simply wasn't good enough.

Your going by last seasons form playing for you, like you are with pughy but players improve. Maybe your caoching staff aint that good, pughs being linked with leeds aswell.
I thought he was out of contract here. Do you know what kind of fee it is? I'm guessisng it's not much, probably around the 10-20k mark.
Not sure about that. Symes is a class act and one one of my favourite players when he was here at Salop. Wish we had him back!
