Paul Mullin may want to grab the glory for himself, but he is still one hell of a player and largely instrumental in Wrexham's success. Yes, Lo-Tutala has been amazing for us.
I don't think you can blame Mullin. He has a split second to make a decision and looking at the angle he can't have known it was going in. Great finisher but the biggest cheating, diving bastard in the league which cost Wrexham a penalty when we beat them in Feb.
We’re so ****ing good Irritatingly though so are Crawley who keep that gap to the play offs to 7 points
I see Tommy Rowe scored , he sent Posh a good luck for tomorrow message , good of him . The annual Mansfield wobble has started , Swindon won away for the first time since the 1930's & even stranger in this division , Notts County kept a clean sheet
A perfect day in terms of results, with us winning and our three main rivals all losing, but a day also laced with emotion as David Artell took his place on the touchline despite the death of his father being announced by the club only 90 minutes before kick-off. I'm sure I could see him wipe away a tear as the Pontoon chanted his name at full-time and, knowing all too well what he and his family are enduring at the moment, he certainly wasn't alone in that.
Another win for Doncaster! Tough night though for Grimsby - another harsh decision going against them?
Seen a clip from the linesman’s point of view and the offside was the correct decision if that’s the one you mean ?
Ah fair enough. Will look at that. You confident of the play-offs? Stockport and Wrexham almost up. Big game on Saturday - MK Dons v Mansfield.
Crawley have been excellent this season so relying on them to cock up a couple of times is still a long shot in itself, and that’s without us needing to carry on this form. Just have to hope that Crawley come up against some tough opponents as 3 of the 4 games they have left are involved in the relegation scrap Either way, we’re certainly capable of beating anyone at the minute and it’s just a complete surprise to even be in this position Saw a picture yesterday where after 28 games we were 22nd on 28 points in January. 3 months and 14 games later and we’ve just been brilliant, so it’s looking quite positive for next season
Didn't watch the game but have seen suggestions the officiating wasn't great overall. That said, there's no doubt from the video I've seen that the decision to disallow our goal was correct. If you go by betting odds, we might well be safe already but I'd like another win to feel more comfortable about it.
Can Doncaster reach the play-offs is the question every Rovers fan is asking right now. We have won 7 in a row and there is a fair chance we can make it 11 in a row at the end of the season. That puts us on 73 points. We can only catch Crewe, Barrow and Crawley with 73 points. So whether Rovers will be in the play-offs is down to these 3 clubs even if we win our last 4 games. Bear in mind Barrow and Crawley have yet to play each other and Doncaster need to beat Barrow on the 20th. For Doncaster to be in league one next season is a massive challenge, but not impossible, depending largely on Barrow or Crawley finishing the season with 2 or 3 losses (which is unlikely or they wouldn't already be in the play-offs).
I'd love to see an honest, proper, club like Donny up there personally... People say about Wxm - 'Where were you when you... (weren't that good)" Well, we get a lot of stick for having new 'plastic' fans, but in truth, 95% of us fans attending now, are like any of the the Donny, Stockport,Mansfield ( & most other) fans, that are actually from in-and-around their clubs' catchment area, that would turn up when there's something to cheer about! (our's is a pretty big area too, tbh...) Stockport 100% deserve the title this year tbh - keeping up there with all the injuries they've had, shows how important squad depth is...so well done to them. All my 10 fingers, & 4 thumbs are crossed for us to follow them up....
On course for 8 in a row! Wow! Currently 1 point off the play offs with a game in hand. Crazy when we were 3rd bottom at the end of January. Barrow look catchable, with them still to play us, Mansfield, Crawley and Bradford.
Donny on a remarkable run - fair play. Confidence must be coursing through the veins of the whole squad and I fancy you'll get in in the PO's no probs. So often happens that a team goes on a late run and the form team - is a hard team to beat....Grimsby springs to mind... Looking ace for us at the moment....
