2 managers sacked this evening neither one a surprise as they've carried on their poor form after relegation last season - Michael Brown at Port Vale and Gary Caldwell at Chesterfield.

This league really is properly shit, isn't it! Anyone can beat anyone and promotion is there for taking for any side that can find anything like consistent form.

Yeah they were pretty good at our place, only time they've dropped points so far.

Play like we did second half at Cambridge we could get a good result, perhaps a 3-1 home win, but we are so incosistant that if we did play like first half we will lose 4-0.
Hopefully a decent crowd around 10,000. I thought the skyblue army were fantastic at Cambridge, in-fact both sets of fans created a great atmosphere

With Lincoln selling over 4k tickets and Nolan signing a 3 year contract we should be looking at a good crowd Saturday, will be a hard game Lincoln are playing well and since our cock-up first game of the season we been playing ok :)

Yeah, we are more than capable of getting a good result. Everyone is beatable in this division, even those at the top.

Not sure about 10,000 turning up though, reckon a lot of people will be put off by us losing to "bloody Cambridge" and think twice about attending.

Beating our old enemy Col. U away 2-1 is a great feeling and Craig Mackail-Smith breaking his duck for us at last for the winner means i feel a cider or two coming on tonight.

Good result today and a positive performance. Should have been more than 2-0 but happy with another three points and clean sheet at home. Just got to improve on the road now!

We have beat the top two at the Ricoh, just need to sort out our away form.
I have a good feeling for a top three position.
Not confident about Tuesday's game away at Swindon, bogey side so at best a draw I would take now

Last season the league was pretty even, apart from the top four or five, in terms of who could beat who on any given day. I haven't seen a really good side yet this season.

Jack Lester going back to Chesterfield as a manager?

Was a legend as a player for them but these things never seem to work out too well and they need results quickly.

Kevin Nolan following in the footsteps of the man he played most of his career for in Big Sam (didn't he get a promotion with County early in his management career?)

Excellent result for us again last night, thoroughly deserved victory and a stunning winner to boot. Ref was absolutely shocking however, 3 blatant penalty decisions waved away (2 for us, 1 for swindon) and generally had no authority over the players. The sending off for them summed it up, had to check with the linesman despite being stood 2 feet away from the incident.

Also, chuffed for Notts for their start. Thought they'd struggle this season based on their performance against us on the opening day but they've really kicked on!
