It's one year to the day since he walked through the doors and he has brought us so many lifelong memories already. I have been watching videos for the first time in a while from Wembley and I'm tearing up and getting emotional all over again.

All genuine Forest fans are behind you Stevie and are so greatful for a wonderful last year, here's to many more which will come if we stick with him. I'll leave you all with this video boys

He’ll be in the dole queue in a matter of weeks unfortunately.

He is universally loved by the supporters still, I hope EM is being pragmatic and weighing everything up including the actual mood of the supporters if he genuinely thinking of doing something so short-sighted. Luckily there is alot of reports stating he is desperate to get him tied down long term so let's hope we can see some good news coming out from the club regarding it soon.

I hope that is the case as I like what he’s done, and I believe in giving managers time.

I know it was necessary to have the overhaul you did, but Cooper must be allowed to mould together a team of a lot of talented individuals.

A sporting director is coming who has been a mentor and is considered a close friend to Coops, surely only solidifying his position?

He should stay IMO (Unless Forest loses to Leicester)

I see one of Giraldi's first jobs was to sack Andy Scott - who was here at some point during the past few years and suffered the same fate!

Not good as he's one of Coops' men and another person behind the recruitment is also getting sacked. It probably won't be long until Dane Murphy resigns or is pushed, wouldn't blame Steve for doing the same but will fully deserve the hefty payout that has likely come with his new contract should they dare axe him.

It's not much of a vote of confidence in your players to sack everyone who signed them is it?

The owner is as nuts/impatient as the Watford owners

Forest fans do you think Cooper is being to loyal to Brennan Johnson ? last season with Spence they were a formidable partnership attacking down the wing, is BJ less effective this season due to the loss of Spence or because he is facing better quality defenders , or both, he is young and has great potential , but right now is he a luxury you can't afford.

I believe so, I can see why Coops has tried to stick with it as with his pace he can bring us from defence to attack in an instant but he is too isolated and is not seeing the ball at all so it is a waste of a player on the pitch at the moment.

Fair play to Cooper - after a rocky start to the season in which his decisions cost us directly (lineups at Man City & Leicester) or tactical indecision allowed teams to outmanoeuvre us (Bournemouth, Fulham) - he really does seem to have melded us into a unit again that fights for points & is starting to look coherent - at least at home.

Away from home we still look largely clueless - just one goal scored and about a million conceded - that’s the next challenge.

whatever happens I sincerely hope we stand by him as we’d be in a fantastic position to come back up under him. But with recent results & the CG crowd United behind him and the players, you start to wonder whether that unity, support, motivation of the players & a hostile atomsphere at the CG might be just enough to scrap us to safety (if other teams underperform).

He's got it right, I had no doubt he would eventually as he's a super talented coach but he like alot of the players were adapting to the premier league. Was just worried about the big man not giving him the time to do that. But fair play to him for not blinking and giving him that new contract where many would have acted differently after that Leicester game

I would unconditionally keep him now as we will go down fighting if the worst happens and there would be no one better to get us back up, but I have a sneaky feeling we might just be alright though there would be no shame in going down at the first attempt seeing how all rivals around us are appointing world class managers, it's a bloody tough league!

First Premier League away win in 23 years.

Cooper doing an incredible job again in the circumstances. We’re not perfect, but we’re organised and fighting and that’s all we can ask for.

In some ways given the player turn around Cooper keeping us up would be potentially an ever bigger achievement than last year, and we at least look like having half a chance now. Thank god the club backed him after Leicester

The connection with the team is nearly at last year's levels for me. Amazing how quick this bond has formed in such a short time.

    Cooper is a treasure!
