    Pick two

Thrown in big Emile for the non-LFC fans to vote for.

Some tasty players in this list but I'm going to go for Fowler and Suarez who would have been frightening if paired in their prime

Fowler and Suarez again fairly straightforward picks I would imagine.

Argument for Torres over Fowler but unlikely due to his standing amongst the fans.

I'd say there is definitely an argument for Bobby too. I reckon a few on here might vote for him.

Above Suarez and Fowler? Or a peak Torres?

He is more a product of the system than those three, who all played in weaker sides.

    All about opinions I suppose.

1 Luis Suarez - sheer technical and unpredictable brilliance, the most complete forward we've had. When he moved to La Liga he kept up and even outscored Messi/Ronaldo in his prime.

2 Robbie Fowler - best natural finisher, legend. Fowler's left peg is the greatest we've seen at Anfield. My childhood hero.

3 Fernando Torres - fantastic debut in England, was probably one of the top 2 or 3 strikers in the world in his prime for Liverpool/Spain. Big game player. His dribbling-into-the-box-and-finishing was unstoppable. Sadly declined sharply and we sold him at the right time.

4 Michael Owen - had an amazing impact at such a young age, f*****g rapid and very composed one-on-one. Lit up the European stage and the World Cup too.

5 Bobby Firmino - feels wrong having Firmino 5th, because in our current team he maximises everybody's game. He would not have had the same affect alongside Riera and Voronin though. A complete magician whose link up play, ball skills, workrate and sweet right foot make him the best false 9 in world football.

6 Ian Rush - the 80s would have Rush top, but in the 90s he was still very intelligent and potent, the perfect mentor for young Robbie Fowler.

7 Emile Heskey - he's sadly become a meme for this younger generation who never saw how effective he was for Liverpool/England in the early 00's. Nice complementary strike partner for Owen.

  6. My view on this is trying to pair players slightly.

With respect to all the "goal scorers" suarez simply has to be in there as he was a dog, an absolute rottweiler and a genius as well. He was genuinely world class and above and beyond the level even though is was a "nutcase amongst other things" the reality is he never has a day of bother once he got to barca so I think personally a lot of his antics were not precisely unplanned.

    After that:

    a) for me heskely can't be considered even though he's severely underrated and spoken poorly of by some. He did a good job before he got ankle injuries and slowed up.

    b) rush's best years were behind him by 1992 so I couldn't pick him either

    c) bobby is a great guy but with suarez in do i need another hard worker or do i need a goal scorer? I am slightly torn here as suarez would like to play with this guy imo.

    d) not owen. it could have been but he didn't deliver long enough for me. he left just before 2005 and basically missed out. I'm comparing him to folwer who shared 2001.

    E) Fowler or torres then. Folwer as brilliant natural goal scorer and had a great few years but torres was world class but we ran him into the ground. Both injury issues. both different types. I have to say both scored amazing goals I loved as well. Its very close and if suarez is in for only being at the club a breif time then I have to pick based on who's the more brilliant player and for me that is torres as robbie is the better striker but not as good on the ball. torres had it all.

I see the spooners are getting their lolz .. they are so funny LMFAO

To only pick 2 then it would be Suarez and Fowler - can’t really add any more reasons that Joga has put.

If I could pick 3 then I’d go Torres - even his exit doesn’t tarnish the day he tore Vidic a new one at Old Trafford. What a day!!!

    No Ngog? Shocking

You’d really take Owen and Torres over Suarez and Fowler?

Went for Suarez and Bobby and I'm not sorry. Firmino is one of the key players in arguably our best side in 30/40 years. Doesn't have the stats some of the others do but that doesn't mean his impact isn't as big if not bigger.

Suarez speaks for him self. There's just no way he doesn't make the 11. The best player I've ever seen for us.

    Div

The fact you’ve typed booby instead of Bobby made me laugh way more than it should

But I can see the arguments for him to be added in, I just personally loved Fowler.

    Fowler and Suarez for me

Fowler is just god, pure and simple, absolutely loved him playing for us, just a pity his career was ruined by Houlllier and Thompson. Have a feeling he'd have went on to rival Shearer. Once he left here he lost interest.

Suarez the best player we've had since Dalglish, Barnes and co, probably

The way the vote is set up, you cant see result without voting, so fair play.

He was my favourite player for years, and despite how he left I still harbour a soft spot for the fecker.

Not to forget, he was truly brilliant for a number of years too. Wish he'd been able to just return instead of wasting his time at Newcastle and then signing with United. I think Liverpool would have won the title under Benitez had he come back between 2005-2009.

Only Liverpool player to win the Balon D'or also.

You can pick any combo of Bobby, Suarez, Torres, Fowler and Owen tbh. Probably Suarez as the only dead cert, I guess.

Yeah, pretty much only two out of place on the list are Rush and Heskey. Rush past his best and Heskey just isn't the standard set.

    @AlissonWonderland why no Sturridge?
