Fowler and Suarez for me. Picked mine on how excited they made me watching them. Torres did that too until he fell off, but I can't see past God and the Uruguayan devil.

Fair enough :) I just think Suarez and Fowler were more natural gifted but I understand having a soft spot for a certain player and lets be honest in his peak he was brilliant .. I still can’t forgive him going to Utd though

I will add to my own point about excitement though. When Bobby is on it, he does some mad flicks, and moments of genius, as well as his no-look finishes/passes; however his numbers aren't quite up there to be a serious contender for me. He's more like late Rush as a conduit for the players around him.

It would be interesting to see Firmino alongside an Owen, Fowler or Torres type striker. Like a classic partnership up top.

Good point and didnt even realise he wasnt included. Hugely underrated how good he actually was when fully fit. The season we nearly won the league he was every bit as good as Suarez. Wasn't there a stat for that season that his goals actually won us more points than Suarez?

We should have scrapped the PL part of these polls and done all time as its gutting seeing Rushie with no votes :( one of the very best strikers this league has ever seen.

I think Rush having no votes is a testament to how good he was and still was even in the twilight of his career? Heskey only has votes because of nefarious means at the end of the day!

The rest of the options are all technically more deserving than Rush on the basis of the time period being considered.

I've just about old enough to clearly remember every player on that list and Suarez for me could do things none of them could do. The number of times he'd get out of situations that I could see no escape from and yet manage to come out of it with the ball, skin 2 or 3 players in the process and then either assist or score was ridiculous.

I always think of the goal he created against United out of nothing.

The most naturally gifted player I've seen play for Liverpool. Absolutely nothing he couldn't do and he had all that ability alongside the best work-rate in the side.

The one player that could have challenged Messi and Ronaldo, only downfall was his darkside meaning he attracted so much hatred and spent so much time banned. Wonderfully talented player and an absolute workhorse rolled in one.
