Yea perhaps for that game, but in general if you can keep one who would it be?

Considering you bought one for £16m and trying to flog the other to Sunderland all summer for an inflated £13m

Get over it. Rodgers knows his players better than any of us. He played a team that lost 1-0 away as opposed to a team that lost 3-0 at home. There is no arguing against that.

So he didn't know his best team at home?

    That makes no sense.

Jesus, a lot of talk through Rodgers playing that team, he took a risk and it paid off, yes we lost the game, but we managed to keep it respectable, and looked a lot better than the Anfield tie. If he played the same team as he did at Anfield and set up the same way, it'd be a lot more than a goal that we lost by, and it would have been more deprimental confidence wise to the team, least we can come out and say we played well, and did a good job to keep the score down.

So I guess you would also agree that LVG didn't know his best team against Leicester or MK Dons?

The media slaughter Balotelli for everything he does so they can't have it both ways to complain if he's left out. It wasn't a game for Balotelli. We needed legs and work rate up front, which we had with Borini.

Borini's the only one I rate out the 3. I'd happily sell all 3 in the summer, keep Sturridge, use Origi and sign someone else. I'd be happy to keep Borini though but anything over what we paid is good business.

But had we known how poor Balotelli would be we wouldn't have tried to offload Borini. I and most others actually wanted Borini to stay and go out on loan, there's a very decent striker in there, needs a run of games as he showed at Sunderland last season.

 the old "I know you are but what am I" argument.
