Where on earth have you been!?

I think Iheanacho will be our 3rd striker, would be very exciting if he was. Would shut a few people up about our academy, especially with Denayer coming through also.

Iheanacho is our third striker – he's in the first team squad along with Lopes and Denayer announced at City Live last night. I think they'll all shine this season.

He's in Rome and a £14m price has been agreed upon so I'd say it's as good as done.

I took a little break from posting on forums but I'm back now. Nice to see most of the oldies are still here!

He's another I think will break into the first team quite comfortably as he isn't short of confidence. It's normally difficult for a young centre back to make an impression because of all the added pressures but I think he's got the qualities and confidence required.

I did wonder where you'd buggered off too! Mike and luap have both gone, but aye, still here!

On another note is anyone else sick of this De Bruyne transfer? Its a different tale everyday, I don't know why we haven't just given up and tried to get Pedro instead.

Suspect that we will get him but Wolsburg have no need to sell so are just ensuring they get the best price... Would rather wait and get who we want then take second best because it is quicker...

Doesn't look like he will be joining (if he ever does) in time for the Chelsea game. Shame as I am sure getting one over Maureen would have added a bit more to his game.

I doubt it. De Bruyne has said he will not be putting in a transfer request and Wolfsburg have already stated that without one they will not even consider selling, so hopefully he is staying in the BL.

Think if we put down the full £50m they will sell.... But unless we do they will say no as they have no need to sell...

Just quoting Klaus Allofs though "If the player doesn't ask to leave we won't accept any offers".

It appears our offer is still pending though.

Julián Burgos, of Spanish publication AS, is today reporting that an agreement has been reached between all parties for the transfer of Argentine central defender Nicolás Otamendi from Valencia to Manchester City. The deal will cost some €40m and includes the loan of Frenchman Eliaquim Mangala from The Blues to the Spanish club.

I don't understand why City would loan out Mangala. He looked great today and with Kompany looking better this season than he was all of last year, a nice little Mangala Kompany partnership could form.

Neither do I. I can't even fathom why it's even been suggested. The guy is playing his best football for us since we signed him.

It annoys me more for the fact Valencia still owe us money for Negredo.

Great signing. I was starting to wonder if the saga would ever end. Yes it was expensive but in due time hopefully the fee will be forgotten by most.

100 million on 2 players  Regardless of how they turn out, this football business is getting ridiculous.
