I'll be surprised if any 'big leads' materialise, and even more surprised if Rashford's out for less than 3 weeks. That said we've knocked out La Liga's runaway leaders and the 6th placed team so in theory below mid-table Seville should be simple enough, if only that was the way football worked!
can't forget that bruno and casemiro are both at risk of suspension in the second leg. almost nailed on that one or both pick up a yellow on thursday.
If Casemiro starts missing games in Europe as well as the 8 League games he's missed since the turn of the year I'll begin to question whether he's worth having at the club regardless of how brilliant he's been.
it's tough, right? like varane, he's excellent, but availability may also be an issue. and i'm not panicking yet, mind you--just looking at the facts. between a number 8 and a number 6 in midfield, though, casemiro missing so many matches and us not having a legit number 6 to step in makes me wonder if a backup should be the priority. we'll see what happens with ownership, budget, and potential outgoings, i guess
I can't be arsed looking it up but I think yellows are scrubbed after the 1/4 finals, and not carried forward.
With Rashford now confirmed to be out perhaps Martial will be motivated to prove a point against the club he was on loan at last season.
Was going to this but had to give up my ticket to a mate as I'm still not well. Apparently the Sevilla fans are much better behaved than the Betis fans were haha.
It takes 6 weeks to recover from a kidney removal. I've got over the pain but I've picked up an illness from the various trips to the doctors. Can't drive and the train and standing for the game will destroy me. It's too much so I'm watching it at home.
