Norwood is a strange one. His demeanour suggests he’s not happy here and hasn’t been since minute one. There’s probably an element of truth in that given shite he has to play with but I think he’s generally a miserable bastard. He’s shown his quality a few times this season but nowhere near enough for the money we’re paying him. I think he’s probably just as pissed off as the rest of us tbh but he’s certainly not an easy character to warm to
Norwood reminds me of the Paul McCallum we had, not professional enough and looks like he spends his money on eating out.
Do you think Norwood thought this would be a one off season down here and then it would be promotion and back to the EFL and negotiating bigger wages? But now he's realised it's like being in the Genesis song "Home by the Sea" and he's stuck here for a while?
I think Unsworth sold him a pup for sure. In Norwood’s defence, I imagine he thought he’d be getting much better service than he has got so I can understand him being pissed but recently even when he has had opportunities he’s fluffed them. It’s a shame because, on paper, he was probably the best signing of the summer alongside Naylor at Chesterfield but for whatever reason it’s not worked out at all
