Thought I'd create a thread for his debut.

Adrian, Milner, Phillip, Gomez, Williams, Lallana, Chirivella , Jones, Minamino, Elliot and Origi.

Pickford, coleman, Holgate, Gonzalez, Digne, Sidibe, Sigurosson, Schneiderlin, Walcott, Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison.

Rather excited for him. Reckon it'll be a very close match

Happy to see him play but that line up is very disappointing. Everton really should walk this.

Van dijk, Salah, Firmino, Robertson and TAA not on the bench too. There's Mane, Henderson, Brewster, Ox, Kelleher, Hoever, and Larouci.

I think it's a perfect game for his debut. VVD had the same and that worked out pretty well.

0-0 at halftime. Chirivella was outstanding in the first half

Yeah, Chirivella really impressed me today, looked class in the middle, then again every single on of the kids did

Phillips looked shaky early on but grew into the game
Williams, absolute class, could easily slot in for Trent in some games.
Jones, brilliant in the second half and what a goal.
Elliott, this kid is class, future star without a doubt.
Larrouci, came on unexpected early on and did superbly, looks a bit wreckless at times but very exciting player to watch.

Very impressed with the lads today, made the Everton players look amateur.

Yeah, Williams should be second choice right back ahead of Gomez or Milner now imo.

Gomez is back on form, keep him doing it at CB.

Larouci was impressive as the game went on but not sure I'd have above Milner second choice LB just yet. His positioning looked a bit off.

I must add too, thought Lallana was superb today, helped the kids control the midfield and even managed the full 90, something he usually struggles to do so. Hopefully won over a few people today.

  13. so I don't know if this one is to discuss minamino or just go full bore enthusiastic on what happened.

first joe gomez was so classy. there was one moment where he beat two everton forwards with one touch and then sprayed 40 yard pass to larouci. it was so good it was ridiculous.

second William's stoof up to everything richalison and bernard could throw at him. sure he had a few inexperienced moments but he stuck with it and really played well going forward.

third chirivella played well on the ball but just looks a little one paced so I'm sure he will get his desired.move off that fine display.

fourth lallana was awesome. that's a real senior pro performance but he absolutely destroyed evertons midfield there. sigurdsson and schneiderlin should be ashamed of themselves.

then elliott. huge work ethic there. really is a lad who will do well. just has a drive in him.

and jones. he worked hard but it just took a bit of time and klopp to really help him out. he worked so hard in midfield but when ox came on he could play further up and he produced an amazing moment. just wow. absolute wow.

but minamino. very early days for the lad. good attitude. impossible to adapt to a totally unknown team and scratch line up in that time. will take time but I hope he doesn't think the prem is that easy.

  14. hes just not interested in left back really. he just wants to run forward. imo that's why hes not got a game in the league cup or today but boy did he give it a big go today.

    Wow Everton are embarrassing.

    Couldn't even beat Liverpool's 3rd team.

  18. Phillips and chirivella are 22, they both really needed that to put themselves in the shop window. They are nowhere near prem level but that will I think have a lot of clubs looking now. They might even develop themselves further if they can keep that up.

Jones, Williams, Elliott are all so young they've no right to dominate senior pros like that. Larouci is just turned 19 this month or something. Amazing.

Lallana, Adrian and gomez were simply outstanding

Chirivella could do a job at a bottom half prem/championship type club, really good on the ball.

Can't see Phillips at anything above lower championship maybe upper league 1 sides.

Williams and Elliott will be easily good enough for this league, Jones too.

Larouci, one to watch, could go either way, looks like he'd be a better wing back as opposed to a full back as his positioning is pretty poor.
