Ikemaster was caught with his agent talking to Sam Allardyce on a possible move to Bolton so we did not want someone who was not commited 100% to the club

Training report 19.08.2004 Today was a very important day for FFFC, their first training session. All the lads gathered and got to know each other ahead of their game with Monaco. We were also pleased to announce 5 trialists joining us in training today.... Hearts_2004 Goalkeeper villarule right/center back Megs Center forward sychev 02 Left back/midfield Trev_GFC left midfield The trialists joined the lads out on the pitch for a light bit of training. We didn't do too much today as it was our first training session and we'll be flying out to Monaco this afternoon. Just some simple passing routines took place along with some set piece practice... nothing to hard! Below are all the lads performances today: Jaimanufan- Looked unfit and did drop a few catches 5/10 Hearts_2004- Looked much fitter than Jai and pulled off a couple of good saves 7/10 Super_Horns- looked nice and stable at left back got up and down the wing well. 7/10 Sunil- The albion veteran looked very solid at the back, clearing every ball that come over with ease. 8/10 gareth_eaton- struggled a bit with fitness but overall did o.k 6/10 newy- closed down well and overall looked pretty sound! 7/10 villarule- tried him out at right back today frequently swapping him with newy and was looking very good until he just did a little damage to his ankle but the physio assures me he will be ok for Monaco. 6/10 Sychev02- Another one of the trialists. Tried him at left back today but was struggling to get to grips with the pace of the session. A few more sessions should so it. 6/10 dundee_boy1985- put in some very challenging crosses at times. Linked up well with the front men. 8/10 wrighty04- looked to be enjoying it in the middle with gagie, linked up with the widemen well. 7/10 gagie- Looks like a very promising player. Definately the start of training today. Looks very relaxed on the ball 9/10 Damien Duff- Damien spent most of the time on the sidelines judging the lads performance. Come on for the match at the end and looked sound. 7/10 Trev_GFC- The Gillingham veteran looked very stable on the left wing while DD wasn't on. 7/10 Megs- Scored 2 goals which he both took well could be a bit of competition for the front two places. 8/10 athers- looked tired after the session however prooved he is worth a first team place during the session. 7/10 Busby- Looked very dangerous at times and could be a threat in the league this season. 8/10 Overall very impressed with the lads performances and the trialists did cope well with their first session. Now it's onto Monaco. Would like you all too meet back here at 3.00 pm so we can make our way to the airport. We wont do anything when we get their but we will have a look at the pitch tomorrow get on it and do some more work! Wrighty player/manager FFFC

You looked very composed and decisive in training today, is this the Sunil we’ll see commanding the back line and helping the more younger players with their general game play? After good training session performances I am pleased to announce the following trialists have been given 2 year deals at the club: sychev 02 megs villarule congratulations to these players, still have 1 trialist left (madipswichfan) who I will keep in training and monitor his progress over the next few days.
I was very impressed with the facilities and was one of the main reasons in signing. I also believe that the current manager is the person that can take me to the potential of my game. I will also work to the best of my ability in training to ensure that i get a chance in the first team.

Training report 20.08.2004 Last training before our first match, it was vital to get things going as soon as possible... had the boys in early so we could start talking tactics etc. Here are the lads performances Jaimanufan- Looked more confident in catching today much more improoved than yesterday 8/10 Hearts_2004- continued his impressive form by pulling off a couple of cracking saves. 8/10 Super_Horns- again looked solid at the back, did however look very tired at the end of the session! 7/10 Sunil- Brilliant stuff again from Sunil really starting to impress for FFFC. 9/10 gareth_eaton- Looked much fitter, sharper today than yesterday, overall a better session! 7/10 newy- star of the session! Really worked hard today and really putting in his claim for a first team place. 10/10 ***** villarule- seemed much more involved with the lads.. confidence may have been lifted when I gave him his 2 year contract sychev02- Looked a bit nervous for some reason today and wasn't at his best! 5/10 dundee_boy1985- continued to impress myself and DD scoring a scorcher from 25 yards. 8/10 wrighty04- To be honest didn't put enough effort in today... not one of my better sessions 6/10 gagie- top act and a top player gagie looks sound in all departments of the game. 9/10 Damien Duff- DD did do a lit bit of work with the lads overall looked stable. 7/10 Trev_GFC- Trev was also lifted by his contract today and put in a good performance 8/10 Megs- looked again very dangerous and looked to be competing for a first team place. 7/10 athers- was pleased with him today... looked nice and sharp. 8/10 busby- Had a good training session scored a couple of goals 7/10 Madipswichfan- FABULOUS! both trialists were really pleasing to watch- 10/10 **** Hamill- looked like he had been in the team years, got on with the lads... great start 9/10. Madipswichfan told the clubs offical website that he was very pleased with the clubs faciltes and can wait to start work under wrighty and damien duff.
A number of players have expressed that they need a player like Hamill, who plays for Basingstoke Town F.C, they feel he would bring a new lease of life to their training camp!

Hearts_2004 today stated that he was delighted to recieve the number one top a fffc and will work very hard to keep it that way. He also said that he still feels he can do better and that with a game under his belt he will improve in training. He said Wrighty is a great manager and should be rewarded for this brilliant squad he has brought together. Source: Reuters
