Exactly. The fact that he's the England manager now shows he's not a "poor" manager. As Machida says he wasn't the right man at the right time. After our worst league finish in how many years we needed a manager to push us forward and get back to where we belonged. Hodgson clearly showed that wasn't his intent with his signings and relation with the media. He seemed content with us sinking to a permanent mid-table side. Obviously that didn't sit well with the fans.
Yeah, it's more like... This. Is isn't that he himself is a bad manager, he was abysmal for us though, totally the wrong fit. It can, and has, happened with many very good managers. His way of doing things was just completely alien to every resource at his disposal here, he was the wrong man at the wrong time for the club. He will probably be the right man at the right time for other jobs, and I think he was a better fit for England than Harry too.
Are you having a laugh, the honeymoon period with Ingurland is over & people are eventually seeing why we thought he was shite. I still cant belive to this day he was ever a manager of of our Football Club
He may be England manager but as it stands I wouldn't be surprised to them fail to qualify... Probably make play-offs at best. Failed to win any of the games against the higher standard of sides in the group I believe?
Dress it up however you want...... Rafa will be fuc ked off by chelsea, but poeple like you will let us miss the boat once again.....................
People like me? I've got no say at the club mate. Silly me though, let's just sack a fourth manager in 3 years. That'll be fruitful. F*ck building for the future with stability and sustainability, I demand instant success now, and I do so with every ounce of emotion and sentimentality in my body. : Rodgers deserves more than 1 season.
For me Rodgers is doing a half decent job, but when someone like Rafa is going to be available we should cease the opportunity. If Guardiola wanted to come would you have him?
Because Guardiola has experience in taking a half decent club and making them great, rather than taking a club that was already World Class, and keeping them World Class, right? Guardiola's a quality manager no doubt, but he's ridiculously overrated. He's in no way suited to Liverpool.
Getting rid of Rodgers now would be a mistake. All it'll do will dismantle all the hard work that we have put into the team, and the style of play that Rodgers has put into the team. We'd be back to square one again by trying to adapt to a different style of play, and it'll take valuable time to try implement it fully. Benitez is a good manager and has done a lot for us, in terms of winning us the Champions League, putting us back into the European elite, and also got us close to the Premiership. I think I'm fully prepared to give Rodgers a good chance to get us back to where we should be.
Guardiola is massively overrated. He's also abit of a coward tbh. As soon as he saw that Barcelona are beginning to decline, he immediately left. Now he saw the potential of Bayern becoming the next best team in the world, he decided to join them. He refused Chelsea because its never easy there and he's a massive coward. I'd love to see him manage Liverpool or Newcastle, he'd get exposed. He's a prick.
