Mike is the kind of deluded person I undertake once in a while when I just can't be arsed going in lane three because you can't be arsed going into lane one. And keep sticking to that speed, Mike. You'll soon be caught by a gatso.
Judging by some of the comments on the health and fitness thread, I think Mike might actually be suffering from 'Roid Rage'!
Forgive me for going to the gym and not driving in the slow lane. I am the clearly the dregs of society. Maybe if I tongue the admin for his opinion I'll be accepted too? Worth a shot? HHAAAAA.
I hate driving down a dual carriageway in the second lane overtaking cars, got a safe two car distance from the car in front of me, then a idiot pulls right in front of you no indicators, forcing you to slow down to get the distance again, so i don't get done for tailgating. I counted 10 different people, in different places, on different roundabouts, who just didn't indicate.
I missed this comment, it's bad around some of places around where i live. I constantly get the same problem at a two lane, that goes into a one lane, and you always get idiots who just can't wait to sit behind a few cars, doesn't matter whether they were second car in from the junction they have to go to the outside to get away quicker, then expect you to slow down and let them in. I always speed up and sit alongside them so they have to slow down as the road starts to disappear, amount of looks i get, but impatience gets you nowhere. It's the one thing i hate about Durham (Geordielen, maybe Adz, will know where i mean in Durham.) I feel that one of the roundabouts in Durham city center, their is currently two roundabouts, their is one before the bridge, and one after the bridge, but the second one isn't bad. The first one is a nightmare, i believe it should be lights controlled, because if you're going straight on at the roundabout, idiots on the junction just before the straight pull out in front of you, or they physically put their front end on the road so you have two choices, stop and let them out or swerve into the next lane and possibly hit another car. One of the main reasons i hate driving through their in busy times.
Seems less and less people use them here as well. The amount of people who just don't bother when turning right is unbelievable. What's worse is people at mini roundabouts
Driving straight over them, and not even bothering to try going round them? I hate prats who don't use common sense when parking on a main road right on the end, next to a side street. So litterally when you are coming out of the side street, you can't see anything coming from your right because he's parked so close to the end of the path, so you have to put front of your car onto the road to see whats coming, and if their is you have to reverse back so they don't go straight into you. I pulled over and asked a friend who lives on the corner and pointed me to the person whos vehicle it was, and went to kindly ask him/she to move it, considering it's breaking the law as you have to park a certain distance from a junction. I'm 100% sure it's in law as an offence, not sure what sort of punishment can be given, this certain person deserved it, as she believes i can park anywhere as i pay my road tax.
It's clearly defined, you cannot park within 10mtrs (32 feet) of a junction, or opposite a junction. Highway Code Section 243. http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTransport/Highwaycode/DG_069860
I've seen quite a few cars near me with stickers on their windscreens, something about unnecessary obstruction, for parking on corners.
As far as I'm aware the Highway Code is not law, however, it is a guide to refer to for reasonableness of a driver. Therefore, whilst it is technically not illegal to park less than 10 metres from a junction I imagine you could be done for dangerous driving or something similar.
Got done for road rage , cant really be arsed going over it again . I spoke about it on here before so now if i get any tits up the arse end of my motor soon as i can pull over i do and let them pass. If that's not possible just keep calm and stick to the limit Got to say i passed my test nearly 20 years ago and there are for more bellends on the road now to then. Every other person seems to be a tosser . one fella was going the wrong way down the street the other week i flashed him and tried telling all i got was the middle finger and a load of abuse .
Evident obsession suggests you yourself have some form of issue, and I feel this is down to impotence. You show your anger and frustration to other users to hide your own short comings. It's okay, there is help out there.
