First match underway between Wales and Ireland and 20 minutes in and it's an absolute canter for Ireland! Don't get me wrong, Ireland are good and probably the team to beat this year but my god do Wales look awful so far
Fighting to avoid the wooden spoon already. Been rubbish for ages so if anyone thinks Gatland coming in will make us World Champions then they are on drugs.
Oh dear the Wales team are not a patch on last years team and they weren’t a patch on the year before Ireland look promising Now to the Calcutta Cup come on England
Great game so far. England have been the better team and deserve the lead, but there’s been a couple of bits of magic and fantastic try’s for Scotland
Scotland's attack were just too good for England. A Townsend led Scotland side has been threatening this sort of free flowing, no fear attacking rugby for years and years without coming to fruition but it all came together tonight. That being said, I doubt France or Ireland are too concerned about anything they have seen today. The 2023 Six Nations will be decided in their match
Scotland just need to get some consistency, they usually get one or two of these victories and then throw it away the next game.
Real scare for France in Italy. Italy play well in fits and starts but really do need to find some consistency to be competitive at this level.
I think Italy have more thsn enough to avoid finishing last, but as you ssy they are horribky inconsistent, so could still easily finish last despite being better than 1 or 2 of the other teams.
Scotland destroyed Wales there. So much speed, especially on the left wing. Still fully expect Wales to raise themselves against England though.
Scotland looking really good, probably the most exciting attacking side in the competition. Going to be really interesting to see how they approach the France game
