McCleish should be nowhere near the Scotland manager job and the SFA does need a clear out, but surely these players deserve a lot more stick than they are getting. Most folk seem to be saying that the players are good enough, but regardless of who is manager, should they really be losing to the likes of Israel and Kazakhstan plus limping to a two goal win in San Marino?
Years, decades....no difference. I don't pay attention to them unless it's to laugh when they sing 'Doh a deer....etc etc...'
It's funny when they sing it especially due to them not backing an independent review into the SFA that Celtic called for.
Well there is actually, Celtic have hated the SFA since day dot for justifiable reasons. Rangers fans took a dislike to them when they were liquidated in 2012 despite them doing everything they could to bend rules for them.
No, it was down to a dud manager. Forrest scored four against St Johnstone and was dropped in the midweek against Israel by the same idiot.
Absolutely not true mate. I was going to games for many many years before that and the SFA were detested.
Actually my post was an off the cuff jokey comment due to the Celtic fans in here saying that you hoped Celtic players on international duty didn't pick up any injuries. For clarity....I have little interest in any international football, yeah I'll watch a game back and forwards but only if it suits so whether the Scotland manager is perceived as a dud or a fantastic gaffer is irrelevant to me. And for what it's worth Forrest was worth a place in the team as he has put in some decent performances. I was surprised he wasn't included.
Never once heard them sing that chant before 2012. If they did detest the SFA I really don't know why.
With all due respect Lisbon you wouldn't be going to Rangers games (& obviously same with me & Celtic) & not all games were televised so, those apart & Old Firm games, you really wouldn't be aware of what was chanted. I'm going back many years & I can't mind what the issues were but it was chanted.
Not saying I was, i'm saying I never heard it and I never detected an anti SFA stance in general even away from games from Rangers or their fans, there would have been no need for one. I'll take your word for it though
McLeish to be sacked today and the charlatans at the SFA mentioning it was affecting his health. If only anyone had noticedd right from the very start that McLeish was struggling badly in that department. And that's before you even get to his footballing management ability. I wish him well with his health though. The corrupt and incompetent SFA should go with him, starting with McRae and Petrie. Job done for them both though, they got their mate one last big payday that should square the taxman up. Funny handshakes all round . . . Well done.. Just a pity the Scottish football fans had to be the collateral in that good deed.
Mcleish sacked. About time the useless twat got booted out. Now to ask Steve Clark the question and if not go down the foreign route and get a tried and tested International manager in.
