So it's down to a three man shortlist -

    Steve Clark
    Deryk McInnes
    Scott Gemmell

It's amazing it's took them so long to identify three guys right under their nose.

    How long will he last?

Will probably hope the overseas officials are better than the Scottish ones!

He'll have the fans behind him for starters, which McLeish never did

Che Adams has opted to play for Scotland through the grandparent rule.

Whatever we think of that rule, most countries use it and he's a decent option in a position we are struggling in.

Good player for his level I think who can get goals.

Certainly more of a Premier league striker than McBurnie.

That Dykes started well for you but done nothing at QPR since so certainly would be an improvement.

He has done well at international level but Adams a better bet to grab goals.

That's not saying he will though.

Adams should be a good addition to the squad.

Really disappointed Turnbull and Gauld haven't been called up, two guys who can win games out of nothing.

Also Hanley should never be allowed near a Scotland shirt, guy is ****ing hopeless at this level, would have been better to call up Liam Lindsey or Tom McIntyre.

I expect one the Euro Squad gets announced Forrest will be in it

Can't believe he is continuing to pick McBurnie, I wouldn't give him a game for Sheffield Utd, never mind the national team.

I remember Gauld at Dundee and he looked a world beater for one so young. I'm glad the loan to Farense worked out - and he seems to have carried his excellent form into the Primeira Liga. Surely he needs to get a call up for the Euros if he continues like that. He has a fantastic left foot and gets goals and assists. Primeira league is a decent, technical league, somewhat akin to international football.

Happy enough with the squad today.

Only change I possibly would have made would have been Gauld in for Taylor, dont see the need in 3 left backs.

Especially when the first 2 are amongst the best in the world!

Can't argue with it in general.

The one talking point is Griffiths. He provides natural instinct for a goal which we don't have in abundance. On talent he should be in there, the question is does his application entitle him to be there.

He'd enhance that squad but can have no complaints he's been overlooked

A poor performance tonight but it was all about the result. Very hard to break teams down on they pitches when they sit in but a crucial 3 points and a victory over Moldova now ensures a play off place for next years world cup.
