Balls...he's been cited! "Hearts striker Steven MacLean has been cited by the Scottish FA for grabbing Celtic's Eboue Kouassi by the groin during the League Cup semi-final." Hearts' Steven MacLean cited by Scottish FA for grabbing Eboue Kouassi's groin area
I see the subject of strict liability has reared it's ugly head in Scottish football this week again. It is unworkable in Scotland for a variety of reasons and the only deterrent for coin throwers etc is to be hammered harder by the courts.
Anybody been following the Football Leaks coming out about Man City, PSG etc? Fascinating stuff and they now have the evidence to back up what we all knew but no one could prove. These clubs should be hammered and banned.
It won't matter for long, they will get new rules soon enough when they move to a super Legaue which is being talked about in detail between the rich clubs.
In the meantime they should be hammered though but UEFA will go full SFA as they are up to their neck in the corruption also. ,Football as in the game we all grew up loving, is finished.
It just shows that no matter the level, football clubs will be allowed to cheat. City in England are getting it tight but I'd be they're not the only ones. Chelsea must be at it as well. In France it's PSG, and in Spain both Barca and Real are millions in debt. The old Rangers did it and this version is doing the same. Even lower league clubis in England are at it. Salford and Billericay are paying players over £3k per week and getting crowds of less than 1000. The only way it will stop is if the clubs who are at least trying to stay sane gang up against them, which is unlikely.
Does my nut in how football has been ruined with cash and the corruption that comes with that. Hopefully this is the start of things to come. . Rangers shareholders have links to organised crime Rangers chairman Dave King says some shareholders have links to organised crime You just couldn't make this up.
Monty it's been known for a while but as usual they just laugh and call people liars when it's flagged up. The whole newco is built on lies, corruption and loans. The current incumbent King is the biggest fraudster in the game. He exposed himself yet again in court today. . . A born liar and they love him, they are the thickest support on the planet. . Chris McLaughlinVerified account@BBCchrismclaug 5h5 hours ago Dave King also listed key investors who he says have told him they won’t take up the offer of 20p per share, including Sandy Easdale. Easdale has since told the BBC he has not given that undertaking. #Rangers. He lost in court again today and agreed to comply with the ruling he's been trying to fight. Lets see how he does on this front. . From 2017. . . . .Rangers Tax-Case@rangerstaxcase 7 Sep 2017 In its last decade of existence The Rangers FC plc became an organised crime network designed to distort Scottish football. They did it all. From today. . . Rangers Tax-Case@rangerstaxcase 1h1 hour ago Rangers Tax-Case Retweeted Rangers Tax-Case I remember when this post from 7th Sep 2017 was dismissed by some as comical hyperbole? Old Rangers. New Rangers. Key directors in common. Aside from King, he has just told our footballing authorities what we all knew, that the second Rangers is up to it's neck in corruption, organised crime, money laundering etc. . . .expect them to look the other way yet again.
Your chairman didn't swear that under oath Tommy. He did say Rangers shareholders are involved in money laundering and organised crime. That's something that many knew and others would simply mock. If of course you're chairman hadn't stated it in court yesterday.
The English FA cup should be wrapped up and thrown in the bin. Utter garbage now and reduced to a reserve team cup.
