I imagine many clubs would see 13 'incidents' at a single game, never mind spread over a few massive wins. You would think the lads were tearing away ends apart the way the club have carried on here. It's ridiculous and not exactly good for supporter relations. Felt it fit within the theme of recent pages here, where clubs are taking more and more draconian stances. I look forward to them asking me for £ hundreds for my ST renewal just days after speaking to me like a naughty child in a classroom that can't be trusted.
Seems to be a crackdown across the leagues, seen some ridiculous stewarding and policing this season and we've had a block closed by the police, and west ham were forced to put in a "banter wall". Saying that some fans have acted like absolute bellends this season and it's hard to argue there isn't an increase in people taking class A's - especially coke - at football
Clubs used to have cup games included but seems Bournemouth fans are getting ladies games in their season ticket price hence the increase in price . https://www.afcb.co.uk/news/tickets/season-ticket-pricing-confirmed-for-202324/ Not sure how that will go down? Guess it’s some sort of marketing tool to gain more interest but some probably won’t have any. @AFCB-Nutter @RednBlacklife
It's a bit more cack handed than that. Base price up from £550 to £595. OK, straightforward enough. They were frozen for 7-8 years and under new ownership we all expected an increase. Now the odd bit. On top of that there's an automatic £14 to be debited, date tbc, for 2x women's games at Dean Court. The club could have advertised it as say £610 including free women's games. I think that would have been OKish. There would of course be complaints at the increase but all would understand it at least. But they worried that might seem like too large an increase (?) so have come up with this extra mandatory stealth increase to confuse everyone? I understand the new American board want to throw a light on and expand the women's and girl's teams. I understand they see a strategy here of making relatively large steps up the women's pyramid for a modest injection of money, effectively a marketing move for the club/brand etc. I understand they want to take some of the fanbase with them on that push. But they've made a right royal horlicks of communicating it Love it that whether owned by a local builder or a billionaire consortium, AFCB ticketing continues to be a mess.
Is that even legal? Even the thieving Glazer twats didn't dream up a ruse whereby you have to buy tickets for a completely different team in another League.
Up to £1269. That's a massive hike considering it's 4 games less this time forward. Works out to £57 per game. Quite demoralising. But supply and demand and all that. Arsenal are fashionable again among it's own fans so it doesn't surprise me that prices have gone up. I haven't got many years left in me. May even be my last. I can't justify over £50 per game.
No relocate to a cheaper area? I moved to £200 cheaper and now can put towards away games that are capped at £30
How on earth can they justify a 25% increase to one of the already-most-expensive season tickets. It’s scandalous IMO. At the end of the day the income from season tickets outside of hospitality is pretty marginal for this league. The clubs don’t really benefit from such high prices, so why do it? Mine are £400. London’s a rip off but these prices are something else.
We've introduced season tickets in the uncovered corner stand for next season. Naturally they're far cheaper than the rest of the stadium given you're open to the elements and can't see the far corner flag to your right. In doing so it's taken us from the 5th most expensive cheap seats to 11th. 700 of 23,000 season ticket holders pay that price. 13,700 of 23,000 season ticket holders pay the price that would see us 5th most expensive All so they can mask the fact they're taking supporters for ****s.
I ended up renewing. I had a lot of money in credit due to seling some tickets back to the club last season so my outlay came down to ~£910. I can take that (£41 a ticket).
I don't think that option is available. For every one of me, there's 5-10 waiting to jump in. One more season, maybe two and I'll retire. I had to wait until I was 28 to have the luxury of going to Arsenal frequently. Being able to do it for 4/5 years is enough for me. I grew up being a television viewer, I can go back to being that no problem.
Whatever It takes to keep my season ticket and away days going, hate watching us on TV if there's a chance to be there.
