Games coming thick and fast, and another tough game against Arsenal.

It will be a tough game, I think we can get a draw out of it, but they are playing quite well at the moment, and we need to score any chance we could get, but after yesterday I can't see that happening. But you never know.

    I'm going for a 2-1 away win :(

My first visit to Bramall Lane and I'm looking forward to it.

    I'm onto you, Jagielka.

I reckon another 1-0 loss could be in the pipeline.

I'm gonna be an optimist with some reasoning behind it.

At the beginning of the season I predicted we would be one of the big four and seeing as we've played the other three it must be a blades win 1-0 or 2-1, and get the money on cos we are 6/1 to win.

just point out the last time arsenal won in 90 minutes at bramall lane was jan 1978, weve not lost in 6 games since , including our only 2 previous prem games '
we won 1 cup replay 1-0 in 90 minutes and drew 0-0 in the other, as theres no penalties we should get something

Well you guys will battle and rush Arsenal into mistakes like we did and give them a good game I am sure.

Plus you have a bit more quality I suspect than us to score goals if given the chance.

No reason why you Blades cannot nick a point although even on Tuesday you just saw moments of class from the Gunners and they will create chances whatever (more so if you give them the space and time)

I'm feeling worryingly optimistic (for me) about this game. We always give the Arse a game (although my experience is limited to cup games), and with a packed ground and a good atmosphere (hopefully) I really think we could nick a 1-0 or 2-1 win. Either that or we'll get slaughtered, Blackburn-style.

This game will be an easy 3pts for Arsenal:smokin: Seriously though, I think this will be a tough test for us. You gave both United and chelsea a hell of a game and I am expecting another full-blooded effort from United. With Adebayor and Henry out, you only need to contain V.Persie and you will get something out of it. Watch out if you score first, because you will be under huge pressure...

Who will Arsenal play up front? Maybe a 4-5-1 with Van Persie on his own in attack?

I was thinking about sticking some money on Van Persie to score at any time, might check the odds.

Hopefully we'll play RvP and THE BEAST as I'm not sure about van Persie doing a job as a lone striker.

I'm guessing Walcott may start too.

Not gonna be an easy game and even though I want to win, a draw wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

I presume 'The Beast' is Baptista? I was thinking he might play, maybe behind RVP, Baptista is an attacking midfielder isn't he?

He's played in both positions before and has looked more promising as a striker then a midfielder for us so far (but we've only seen a little of him in either position so far).

He was very prolific for Sevilla IIRC.

My head tells me we shouldn't be starting Walcott in this game, but my heart demands we do.....

THE BEAST and RvP (untested) up front in a 4-4-2 it'll have to be. THE BEAST in the 4-1-4-1 would be a risk for Wenger and would definitely represent THE BEAST's chance to shine.

Sheff Utd fans, your omens for this one are good I would suspect.

My previous aways this season? Bolton (3-1) and West Ham (1-0):(

Hmmm, the nearer we get the more my optimism seems to be growing. I actually feel like we're gonna win this game. Excellent news about Adebayor, all we need now is a tragic training ground injury to RvP and we're away.

Well your optimism should be sky high, because our confirmed injury list including today's freak training ground inclusions stands at Henry, Adebayor, Walcott, Hleb, Eboue, Gallas, Djorou, Ljungberg, with Fabregas, Aliadiere and one or two others likely to be below par with the infamous "heavy cold".

    Plus Lauren can't start.

Lehman, Hoyte, Clichy, Toure, Senderos, Silva, Fabregas, Flamini OR THE BEAST, Rosicky, van Persie, Aliadiere

Bench: Almunia, Lauren, Denilson, one of the above and myself.

Sheffield United are supposed to have the same problem as us, colds and viruses galore so we should still have enough to beat them, not that I'm feeling overly confident right now.

Oh and I see you've put yourself in the squad over Song, I've never seen you play Robin but I would too.

Yeah we have a few who are doubtful. Davis, Geary, Webber, Gillespie, S. Quinn.

I think Leigertwood is back in contention though.

Injury problems for both of us means I change my prediction to 1-1. Getting a little more confidence.

Almost a full house today and the atmosphere should be good, I will be shouting and singing constantly as usual, and hopefully the rest of the ground will too!
