I figured I’d get the draft thread started. We currently have 14 players, so we can do a division of 14. If anyone else wants to join, we’d need to add both a 15th and 16th at the end of the first round draft order. The draft will be 24 rounds. Each team starts with a £300m budget and blank squads. Additional detail can be found in the signup thread, or let me know if you have any questions. I will keep a running total of players and budget. After the draft concludes, the game world will be set up and we will sign our players. Remember you must have a minimum of two keepers and cannot draft more than 3 players from their real life club. As part of the second round, you will select the club you want to use in the game world. In order to keep things even, please select a club with a stadium capacity of 50,000 or less.

Can’t make trades. Once the initial draft is over, there’s an end of season draft each season where you drop and sign 3 players each year on reverse order of finish, so unless no one drafts Messi until Ollie is up again or let go and Ollie drafts him after the first season, he should be clear of Ollie’s grasp
I guess you could choose to pass, but I would imagine that there will be upgrades for everyone to make each season with ratings changes and more funds

SoccerWiki.org I don’t see the player value shown there, but if you made an account and joined a random game world, you could look up any players value. Values are calculated on age, position, and rating. Younger players, higher rated players, and attacking players tend to have the highest values. I can look anyone up for you, but you’ll have to make an account (free) to sign all your players after the draft anyways, and get two club slots to start, so you could use one to look players up in the meantime.
