From Neil Alexander's injury plus whatever else, does seem a bit much. But Hearts still earned that win, we were shocking. There's no creativity, no imagination, there's nothing there that would make Rangers worthy of being title contenders.

We were how we have been since Ally has been manager. No direction, no skill, no flair, no pace, no good passing, no good defending, players out of position, too many jobs for the pals, but atleast I won £180 on the game.

I said weeks ago that I think Hearts would win the league, but wouldn't pick that in bets or the predictions on here. They are in a much better place than us.

In a weird way id be happy for us not to get promoted this season, as that should signal the end for Ally as manager of us ( asmuch as I love him, he is no manager) as we need a manager who can actually manage and not play his pals all the time. We have the players for a decent enough team but will never get the chance under Ally.

Simple team with some pace, flair and in position ( from current players)

    Bell
    Foster Zaliukas McGregor/ Gasparotto Wallace
    McKay/Aird Law McLeod Templeton
    Boyd/Clark Miller

    or

    Bell
    Foster Zaliukas McGregor/ Gasparotto Wallace

    McLeod Peralta/Law

    Aird/McKay Templeton/Shiels Aird/Templeton

    Miller/Boyd

Simple basic formations with players in their own positions

Delighted with that today. We weren't even close to playing as good as we did in pre-season and still won.

    Love it.

Rumours doing the rounds that the rich, sleekit one is away.

    Hopefully nothing in it.

I watched the game today, a fantastic finish and well played to Hearts, a huge win for them. Championship will be interesting this season with three big teams in it.

When Rangers to return to the top flight, will they in any way be able to compete with Celtic straight away or will it take a few years to put up a fight?

Under the current management, coaching staff and players, we are a good number of years away from challenging for even Aberdeen or Dundee Utd, nevermind Celtic. Good thing is tho IMO, Celtic will get worse year after year imo as Liewell just loves cashing in on Champions league money and transfer fees without putting much back into the squad that is better quality than what they have already.

If Rangers done what Hearts done after their admin ie release their highest earners/ older players, gave youth a chance, brought in a few experienced cheaper players along with a few good other younger players then we would be in a much better place, but instead we blow thousands per week on guys with no sell on value or jobs for the pals like Cribari, McCulloch, Foster, Smith, Black, Daly, Miller, Boyd but young players like Gasperrato ( sp ), McAusland, Cole, Telfer, Clark, McKay, McLeod never got a chance or have not played nearly enough.

We will see a big difference at Rangers when we get a new manager who will have tactical knowledge, know that a team should not consist of 4 centre mids, will give youth a chance, and will treat the ball like an actual football and not something that you need to try and murder.
