Good appointment, only criticism i have is that i believe that Scotland should have made this appointment at the beginning of the campaign.

I didn’t feel he was right for Celtic, but I think he is perfect for Scotland.

    Good luck to him.

The only appointment that made sense for Scotland.

It's just a shame the shambles of letting Mcleish come back in has hampered the qualification group already although the nations legaue has thankfully offered a back door.

I have a feeling his decision was based on wanting to see more of his family.

He should have been appointed long before McLeish was even thought about.

The people that made that appointment when Clarke was doing wonders should be hunted.

He has done great with Killie this campaign, but he is a dour sod, and is another 'meh' appointment for me. Still, got to be better than McLeish though.

I’m happy enough with this, let’s hope he does a good job. We have some good players, we just need to find a way to punch above our weight now.

Having said that, I still don’t think we have any decent centre backs.

Can't be any worse than what you had. Think he will certainly get you close to a tournament if you give him time.

Good appointment imo. Think he'll do well but it's a shame it's come so late. He'll fail to get you in the Euro's and it won't really be his fault imo.

That's a strange stereotype we get slated for, like the one about us being miser's also. A lot of the time we are anything but either of those.

It's funny as it couldn't be more the oposit, usual little Englanders, they shout something loud enough and often enough so beleive it's true.

A dead duck tonight where only a hugely unlikely win would keep us in with any chance in the group.

Probably a blessing in dusguise, Clarke needs to forget about the group and use the remaining games to get his style and system across ready for the Nations League play offs.

Until we produce decent defenders that aren’t left backs, we’ll struggle.

I think Clarke should be given time. He has a some really good players now, at Scotland. They just need time to fit together.

Shankland called up for Scotland, might as well see if he can do it at that level.

Would be interesting to see McBurnie playing alongside or near another Scottish player as well.
