Think that is the potential final opponent but yes agreed that would be tough.

    Israel or Bulgaria first ..

Yeah I jumped the gun there. I think we could get past Israel or Bulgaria with the right squad and a good performance, but I don't fancy our chances against the two I mentioned.

Low and behold by March, he's definitely ready for the side and he's still been called up to the U21's

Back to back starts for Chelsea against Everton and Liverpool, Man of the Match in both and I'd like to see what Steve Clarke's reasoning is for it. He should have been bedded in when all your top players had pulled out, and you were playing meaningless games at the end of qualifying, but I guess they'll wait until it's too late to qualify to eventually play him.

If Wales had a player like that, he'd have been in and around the squad for the last year or so and been involved before waiting for Chelsea to give him their chance. We gave Ampadu his debut before he got his Chelsea debut, he's an integral part of the side, and he was a major reason for us qualifying for this summer's tournament.

If he played in any other position apart form LB and CM he would be in the now, he probably should be in the squad but at the same time at his current level is he better than - McGinn, McTomminay, McGregor, Armstrong, Fleck. I would say no, so its not that much of a shock.

His time will come but the game against Israel is the most important in years so Clarke will have no time for sentiment.

If only we could find a couple CBs and a RB and we may get somewhere, until we do the nation is destined to always fall short.

McGinn's injured and hasn't been back in any sort of contact training yet, and yeah I think he's good enough to start in that team. I think he's a level above the likes of McTominay, in skill, tactical awareness, passing and in everything bar size really. I think that he'd fit in here in your strong midfield for me for the games alongside McGregor and Armstrong, with Christie and Forrest out wide.
