Looks like Niakhate will sign. Seems keen to join and we've apparently reached an agreement with Mainz on the fee.

We must be keen on him if we've gone back having had our initial offered rebuffed. Not often Murphy has done that before!

I'd like to see a bit of work on the midfield. I still wouldn't be totally surprised to see us sticking a bid in for Garner, especially if Utd get De Jong over the line. Gibbs White would be another I'd like us to get over the line but news today suggests other clubs are entering the race

It seems apart from Awoniyi we are focusing on building from back to front so I imagine we will start being linked with midfielder's once the defence is sorted. I'm not suprised Gibbs White has interest from elsewhere, Palace are a strong link. Let's hope the Coops factor will be abig lure but half expecting us to move on to other targets

The new signing speaks, I love he comes across (really confident) and I think he has a better grasp of English than 99% of people I know :laugh::laugh:

In talks with Liverpool for Nico Williams. I thought he was a Centre Back? Right Back.

    £16million or worth.

Also in talks with Bayern for Omar Richards..

Assuming Williams also comes through the door, that's the defense sorted time to build a midfield next

Think he's building some depth here. Feel it'll be needed.

    Very active Business.

Looks like Wolves have lost one of their midfielders for the season so we might have to be looking away from Gibbs-White now

Unless they reduced their asking price I always thought that was abit of a long shot anyway

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't be paying £30 million anyway

Hopefully we will start strengthening the midfield over the next week or so, if only to calm the bedwetters on LTLF . You'd have thought we had signed no one judging by the negativity on thre at the moment. They'll be the same people who will be saying we won't beat D*rby's record if we lose to Newcastle on the opening day

Forest are going about Transfer Business the right way. Definitely will see more signings.

It's the same on Twitter - the meltdown on there by some has been ridiculous.
I'm loving the 'we are signing no-one with Prem quality' phrase that keeps popping up like we should have been in for the likes of Mane, Salah & Ronaldo ;) :D

The deal for the Huddersfield duo could be off, Twitter and LTLF deffo needs to be avoided then

By sounds of it O'Brien is there waiting to be unveiled. Think he will get done, Toffs seems to be the problem. O'Brien is the much better player but I would rather have Toffs next season if this lad we got from Wimbledon is as good as he's being hyped up to be, plus he's one of the best LB in the Champ.

I can see the O'Brien one still getting done as well, we are getting linked with someone else in Tofollo's position so you could be right. Not too fussed on the latter tbh as it isn't quite as a priority position as O'Brien's

O'Brien will be great in the Prem IMO, Toffolo would get found out.

Toffolo would have only been a rotation option, which is obviously the problem as it's been reflected in the wages we are offering. Anyway I'm avoiding LTLF again, someone used to word disaster to this potential deal falling through :laugh:

Deal back on now apparently. Not sure if that means for both or just O'Brien.

it's been a bit of a strange one with all the journos contradicting each other. O'Brien has had his medical, and done the media content - you'd think that one surely gets done somehow now, even if we do have to go and pay his release clause.
