Quite a exceptional performance for them in their first EFL season.

Going for promotion in League 2 and now off to Wembley after beating Wigan on penalties in the Papa Johns trophy .

I went to the Sutton Soccer School as a kid.

    Could've been me.

Well done Sutton, they don't appear to have been a money club that have come up from non-league either so fair play to them.

Quite the remarkable season for them. Promotion to the third tier on the first attempt would be incredible.

It’s all a bit crazy really.

Great performance from the team on the night to get a draw in the 90. My nerves were shot in the shootout.

I’ve been waiting 28 years, and the club 41, to get to Wembley. It’s all a bit surreal

They will play Rotherham in the final who edged past a brave and tough Hartlepool side on penalties.

Felt for Hartlepool , thought they were the better team , Rotherham are just power & one dimensional .
Bogle missed a right sitter at 67 mins to make it 3-2 .
Good luck to Sutton on their big day .

    1-1 at HT.

Sutton’s goal was well worked but what a cracker by Ben Wiles.

Extra time then. I am kinda supporting Rotherham, but they are lucky they haven't lost already tbh. Heartbreak for Sutton there.

Feel for Sutton & the Millers fans who were leaving after 85-90 mins  oh dear , use the 3 goal losing scenario before you beat the traffic ;)

People who leave early deserve things happening like this

Unless it's an emergency shouldn't leave games. Never get that thinking..

Going to beat the traffic. No matter that the scoreline is

In normal time Sutton deserved to win the game, but that equalizer flattened them.

Bit of tiredness kicked in too.

Sutton had a good season no matter what. Hope they go up

Think the size of the pitch knackered Sutton, was only gonna be one winner in ET.

Great run though, done wonders for the club financially. Play like that the rest of the season and playoffs is well and truly on.

Gutted I couldn’t make it to Wembley today but sounded like a top day out.
