YES !!! That's his f*cking role and has been his role since the last time he played ,there's absolutely nothing you've mentioned above that I haven't seen Thiago do with aplomb ? Just sometimes I have to read your posts twice to ascertain whether you're on a wind up.

People forget what a wonderfully talented player Thiago is and what we've missed through his injuries, fully fit Thiago is up there with the very best midfielders in the league imo and yes that icludes De Bruyne. So classy, so easy on the eye and makes the game look so simple. Imagine the career he'd have had without a broken body, people slate players for being injured all the time, I dont, I feel for them as they've been robbed of wonderful careers. Can't wait to see him back. Fully fit and raring to go, he walks into any midfield.

If any of you chaps are going to the game or know anyone going to game, please be aware of a substantial tube strike starting tomorrow evening. Going to be a bit of a mad one getting home.

Tubes running during the afternoon but otherwise a bus/overground job. Shouldn't be too problematic getting from Euston to Highbury & Islington/Finsbury Park with those options.

Three weeks apparently, so hopefully back for Chelsea. About the same timescale for both Tsimikas & Robertson too. Gomez pulling overtime this month

**** sake, apart from the kids do we even have a fit full back now? Apart for Gomez.

    Ten injuries now.

Need to dip into the market for a FB/CB now surely?

All those haters that wanted Gomez gone are sure eating some humble pie now, lads been a tremendous stand in at left back.

WB Lad, long time no see. Yeah, pissing the league by 20 points this season mate ;)

Jeez, going to be hard to navigate Fulham over two legs with these injuries and players unavailable mounting up.

Fortunately there's a "break" coming up.

Trent injury is huge. He's our most influential player imo. Bradley looked good in his cameo vs Arsenal so a big opportunity for him now.

Wouldn't be as big a worry if both LBs weren't out too. All senior full backs now out. Big chance for the youngsters to step up. Big night tomorrow. Hopefully VVD is back.

    Emergency loan for James Miller?

VVD is back tomorrow. I'd be more comfortable with Beck starting LB in that case as he'll have Virgil alongside him, however Gomez has got the break until the next game so we'll likely just see the one young full back I guess, Quansah or Konate alongside VVD. Bradley was used in the inverting role during pre-season & Klopp seems high on him, he had a good cameo the other day & it'd be nice to see him follow that up of the two for me.

Midfield is also an area I'd still be looking at with concern for in terms of pure numbers for tomorrow. We're still at 4 senior mids + Gakpo, no Trent available to move into there as an in game change, until Szoboszlai returns we're limited and though seems to be progressing well, not sure if he'll be fully ready for Bournemouth? Chance for Bobby Clark perhaps.

Yeah Trent being out is horrendous news. Do we think he will be back at the end of the month? Can probably get by for a bit without him but we are gonna need reinforcing by the time we play Chelsea and Arsenal at the end of the month into start of next month

Beat Arsenal with ease away and did it with an injured key player. Wild.
