Klopp said that although they won't be ready for the weekend, Trent, Robertson & Szoboszlai could all be back for Fulham but will all be back training next week. Egypt announced that Salah's injury would see him miss two games for them in the AFCON. If they are to go out without him, that might mean he could be available for Chelsea... There's definitely a player in there, maybe going down the level again to kickstart him might be the way, seen it work with other lads here or who've left, whether he finds himself here or somewhere else.
Mo Salah's agent having to give an update on his injury status as there was annoyance from some Egyptian fans that he'd be rehabbing back here to speed up his recovery for them, in better facilities, rather than cheerleading.
Added to the injury update thread... Robertson & Jones good for tomorrow, Trent & Szoboszlai back for Norwich.
Very good news with 2 huge league games coming up. Though kind of bittersweet as Gomez and Bradley have done so well at LB and RB recently. Handy to be able to rotate for Norwich without it feeling disrespectful. Jones being fine is great, thank God.
Yeah feel for Gomez especially, he truly doesnt deserve to be dropped, been superb filling in there, almost to the point he's nearly scored several times...its coming, you know it, I know it
Curtis Jones says he calls Diogo Jota The Ghost. “I’ve been around a lot of world-class strikers from my Academy days into the U21s and then the [senior] team, and he’s right up there. “I’m at the point now where I call him ‘the ghost’ because he’s one of them where you think he’s not involved in the game, and then he’ll pick up the ball and it’ll turn into a goal! “When the game isn’t going his way, it’s quite easy for a striker to not be on the ball and not impact the game, but Jots is always in the game. Even when, say, his touch is a little bit loose and it’s not going right, the ball will bounce around the box and it’s a Jota goal, and you think, ‘Only Jots could do that!’ I'm alright with that nickname as long as keeps spooking the life out of defenders .
After a year, how soon is now, how soon is later...! Going to make the most of whatever we get from Thiago, such a glorious player.
I'm hope the lad surprises everyone having grown up and looks a unit rather than a skinny kid who knows though. As for thiago, well I can only shrug at that. He might be of some use in the europa and fa cup campaigns but i really don't see him doing much for us in the games we have left having been out so long.
Conor Bradley's father has sadly passed away. Absolutely shit for him. To go from such a high to the lowest of lows so quickly is just rotten.
Two wonderfully hit goals there, Morrisons was a scorcher too. And to be fair, the Koumas header was a cracker.
