Seems they had good alibi or stories to make them not linked to the enquiry? From BBC ACC Jackson said: "Following interviews with the arrested men, we are satisfied with the accounts they have provided and they have been released from police custody."
If you read the BBC article it is from an old Christian couple who housed him for a while and said he was "a lovely guy".
My immediate thought was that they might have been house mates in shared accommodation? Well clearly he was misleading them in some shape or form. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
It's another case of a failed asylum seeker still being here for years and years. He lost his claim for asylum in 2014, yet here he is seven years later carrying out a suicide bombing.
'Some fatalities' and more than 20 people injured after vehicle drives through holiday parade in Wisconsin Horrific news, especially as it seems a large number of the victims are children, but this quote from a witness... "There were pom poms and shoes and spilled hot chocolate everywhere" What is it with Americans managing to make tragedy sound so ridiculous? Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
5 dead and 40 injured. Jesus that little kid in the video, how lucky was she. Wisconsin: Five dead and more than 40 injured after vehicle drives through holiday parade
So I may have posted that in the wrong place, heard on the news earlier it's not considered terrorism, believed the driver was fleeing another crime scene. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
Sounds like he was on bail: “The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel newspaper reported Mr Brooks is currently facing at least five criminal charges - including for domestic abuse and battery - and had been released from jail on bond just two days earlier”
Not just us then that screw up by awarding bail when it should not have been given. Bet he does a very very long time in prison though.
6 people dead in Australia, including the mother of a young baby. Six people have been killed and several are in a critical condition, including a baby, after stabbings at a shopping centre near Bondi Beach in Sydney. Police said the attacker, believed to be a 40-year-old man, acted alone and was shot dead by an officer who confronted him on her own. Authorities said the suspect is known to them and his attack is not thought to be terror-related. Hundreds of people were evacuated from the Westfield Bondi Junction shopping centre, while an ambulance spokesperson said people were still inside the building. Police confirmed there is no longer a threat following the attacker's death. At least six killed and several in critical condition after Westfield shopping centre attack in Sydney
Awful what happened in Australia. Seems to be a spate of stabbings in recent years. A knife is easier to get hold of than a gun I suppose. RIP to those that died. No doubt the armchair experts will tell us the police should have shot him in the arm to injure and not kill.
Not here they won't Taff. She's being hailed as a hero, even trying to give him CPR after shooting him. Country is in mourning this morning, I just can't imagine why someone would do this..
I went to the cinema yesterday arvo. When I came out, turned my phone back on and saw it on BBC News website I was shocked as this type of thing doesn’t happen here. Still am shocked tbh. We are in our local shopping centre as I type this sat in a cafe having a coffee. Wife has just said can you imagine someone running through here now stabbing people? Just frightening to even think of it
OK, pretty obvious these are semi-organised now. Wouldn't be surprised if we see more and more each triggered by the one before. I've seen the footage - the bishop appears to be speaking Hebrew. Wonder what ideology would be targeting Jews at this time. Edit; apparently it was Assyrian. Didn't even realise that language still existed.
