It wasn't mine was! I fooked it up with the Bergkamp draft, and then I couldn't be bothered to change my formation once I found a better site to do my tactics. Take mine on the chin. Enjoyed the draft, takes too long to get the results in, that's my humble opinion.

I fail to see how most of these "problems" would be solved by a new voting system.

Variability between highest and lowest finish? OK but there are usually anywhere between 15 to 18 voters so a few choices will stand out. Generally you'll end up about where most people rank your team.

Anonymity of voting? Really, when so many people are happy to vote in tournaments without explaining their reasons? Not buying it.

Tactical voting? I can only speak for my drafts but if people are doing this they're not doing it very well.

As the argument between Viper and borobob earlier in the thread shows, it's clear that people have very different criteria for how they judge these teams. No change to the voting process is going to change that. You either accept it and move on, or you keep bitching about it after every draft. Up to you.

    Two things we can do...

    1) Obviously everyone sees thing differently but if we could come to a general consensus on how we're interpreting the voting criteria BEFORE the draft starts it would help. I mean people were saying 6 seasons was great longevity in a 15 season maximum in this one, clearly having been affected by picks they'd made. I doubt the longevity criteria was looked at much. Maybe the trophies aspect was bigged up more than the other things in the end as well. I said we should discuss it at the start of this one but people preferred to talk about it half way through instead which is no good.

    2) Maybe keep voting criteria as simple as possible, peak ability for as many as we can?

& a side note... maybe season limits etc to stop cheesy picks in drafts like this one because people get distracted by names.

Viper was by far the best team in this draft IMO, a worthy winner

Yeah leave it alone, good to see why certain people vote I. E. Viper, bob, etc.

I will say though as it's not a tournemount it's difficult to really explain your thoughts.

I can see where viper is coming from even if I disagree, still not having it 2 people thought only 1 tram was worse than mine though, schleps.......;)

That, I agree. You were no way close to being amongst the bottom three.

And, now that I think of it, I agree with bob that attack is still fine but midfield was a major issue for me. A DM/Box-Box CM instead of Reus and I think you would have possibly won it.
